Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday appealed to people to join the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ movement by hoisting the tricolour at their homes from August 13 to 15.
In his tweets, Home Minister Amit Shah said that by hoisting the Tiranaga at home. We all will be able to increase the respect and emotional attachment for the Tiranga, especially in the youth of the country. And as well as tell them about the sacrifice of the heroes who fought for freedom.
“With this campaign, the tricolour will be hoisted on about 20 crore houses across the country, which will work to further brighten the unbroken flame of patriotism in the minds of every citizen, especially the younger generations”, he said.

प्रधानमंत्री @narendramodi जी द्वारा आजादी के इस अमृत महोत्सव में #HarGharTiranga अभियान की शुरुआत की गयी है।
इस अभियान से देशभर में लगभग 20 करोड़ घरों पर तिरंगे फहराये जाएँगे, जो हर नागरिक विशेषकर युवाओं के मन में देशभक्ति की अखंड ज्योति को और अधिक प्रखर करने का काम करेगा।

Amit Shah added. “Our national flag tricolour not only unites every countryman in the thread of unity. But also strengthens the spirit of devotion towards the nation in us. On 22 July 1947, it was announced to adopt the present form of tricolour as the national flag. #HarGharTiranga”
Home Minister Amit Shah also added. ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign has been started by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. The government has envisioned the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ (tricolour at every home) exercise in the run-up to the 75th anniversary of India’s independence.
“The Tri-colour flag is a symbol of pride for every Indian”. Amit Shah further concluded. “It represents national integrity and signifies the hopes and aspirations of the Indian people.
