
Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Tuesday took a dig at Former Maharashtra CM, Uddhav Thackeray and blamed Thackeray for the division of Shiv Sena. Shinde, who is currently on a tour to the Pune district said when Uddhav Thackeray held the CM position in the state he never had time to meet his supporters and leaders. “Meanwhile people used to come and visit me because some people (Uddhav Thackeray) had no time to meet them.”, he remarked.
Maharashtra CM mentioned that when the Maha Vikas Aghadi government came to power and the Shiv Sena party leader became the CM, “we all got down to work with complete dedication.” But what was happening in the so-called alliance was intolerable. Our people were suffering and their party leader also the CM of Maharashtra was missing at the time of need, Shinde asserted.
While addressing the people in a public rally at Saswad, Baramati Lok Sabha constituency on his first official tour after resuming the CM seat said, that he doesn’t need an election symbol to get elected by the people of Maharashtra, his work speaks for him at length. Baramati Lok Sabha constituency is a stronghold of Sharad Pawar.
Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde in Pune asked the crowd, “Who betrayed whom? We or someone else?” He added that MLA Uday Samant and many leaders like him left the alliance government to forge the natural alliance of Shiv Sena once again. He asserted that this Govt is a govt of the people and no one should be left unheard or ignored like the previous government.
