Junya Yamanishi’s Resignation: Mr. Yamanishi, who has been serving as Managing Director & CEO, has submitted his resignation effective April 16, 2025. He is stepping down due to a change in his position at Sumitomo Corporation, Japan, which is the promoter of SML Isuzu.
Appointment of Yasushi Nishikawa: The board has approved the appointment of Mr. Nishikawa as an Additional Director and designated him as the new Managing Director & CEO, effective April 17, 2025, for a five-year term. His appointment is subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals.

Mr. Nishikawa is a seasoned industry leader with 38 years of global experience at Sumitomo Corporation. He has held multiple leadership roles in Japan and Mexico, including his tenure as the Executive Vice President & CFO of Mazda Motor Manufacturing de Mexico. His expertise spans automotive manufacturing, planning, coordination, and business development across international markets.

Re-appointment of Anuj Kumar Sethi: Mr. Sethi, currently AVP – Corporate Planning, IT, and Special Application Cell, who is set to superannuate on March 31, 2025, has been re-appointed for a one-year term starting April 1, 2025.
