The noted bitcoin bull and 166th rich person in the world, Ricardo Salinas Pliego, said that he was working to make his bank the first in Mexico to accept the largest cryptocurrency.
The Mexican billionaire in a tweet responding to Michael Saylor, a bitcoin enthusiast and the MicroStrategy CEO, saying that his bank and he were working to be the first bank in Mexico to accept bitcoin.
Saylor was commenting on a video featuring Salinas that had been shared on Twitter by a noted investor and bitcoin advocate Anthony Pompliano.
Salinas in the video explained how his witnessing hyper-inflation first-hand informed his rationale for investing in bitcoin and explained why he thought that fiat was a fraud and went on to say why he would take the cryptocurrency over any other asset.
Ricardo Salinas Pliego, is the founder and chairman of Grupo Salinas, which was a collection of companies with stakes in media, financial services, telecommunications and retail stores. His net worth was at $15.8 billion as said by Forbes.

In a tweet replied by Ricardo Salinas, he said that I was completely right that bitcoin was the new gold, he gave points like bitcoin was too much more portable and transporting bitcoin was much easier than having to carry gold in pockets. He ended saying that he was going to be attacked by gold lovers and ended the tweet on a funny note.
