Breaking: Kate Middleton diagnosed with cancer: Princess releases video statement

Princess Kate Middleton has been the center of speculations and conspiracy theories due to her unexpected absence from the royal family gatherings. The Princess has now addressed the controversy herself by releasing a video message, wherein she announced that she has been diagnosed with cancer.

The Princess of Wales stated, “In January I underwent a major abdominal surgery in London and at the time it was thought that my condition was non-cancerous. The surgery was successful. However, test after the operation, found my cancer had been present.”

It had been known that the royal family member has undergone a abdominal surgery post which she had remain absent from the public eye. She started her statement started with thanking everyone who has been sending her messages of support while she was recovering from surgery.

“My medical therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy and I’m now in early stages of that treatment,” added Kate.

She also mentioned that the past couple of months, whilst she was recovering from the surgery, was incredibly difficult to the whole family. Speaking about her husband, she said, “Having William by my side is a great source of comfort and reassurance that I’m going to be ok.”
