Persistent Systems CEO Christopher O’Connor resigns

The Chief Executive Officer of Persistent Systems, Christopher O’Connor, resigned from his post today.

Persistent Systems CEO Christopher (Chris) O’Connor today resigns from his post as CEO. Based in the United States, O’Connor had joined the company on 25th Feb 2019 through the US subsidiary, Persistent Systems Inc. He had taken over from Persistent Systems founder Anand Deshpande and had transitioned into the role for the next three quarters.

Until recently, Chris led the Persistent system as the role of the CEO and manages the responsibilities of the position. But today he resigned from his post as CEO of Persistent System.

Before coming to the company, Chris had led the Internet of Things business unit at IBM holding various roles like General Manager, Head of Sales, and Head of all software R&D. He had been the founding strategist, leader, and industry-wide innovator of IBM IoT.

An alumnus of Rutgers University, Chris holds a dual Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
