The richest people in the world have wealth greater than the total value of goods and services produced by entire countries. These extremely wealthy business leaders come from many different industries and backgrounds. They show the endless possibilities for success. Recently, Forbes published a list of the richest individuals globally, revealing wealth that is hard to imagine.

Bernard Arnault & Family: Bernard Arnault leads the company LVMH (Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton). He recently became the richest person in the world, passing Elon Musk. Arnault started LVMH in 1987 with others. LVMH owns luxury brands like Louis Vuitton and Christian Dior. Arnault’s total wealth is $221.0 billion (around 18 lakh crore Indian Rupees), making him the richest globally.


Elon Musk: Elon Musk created companies like Tesla, SpaceX and others. He has the second highest net worth of $198.5 billion (around 16 lakh crore Indian Rupees). Musk became very rich through new innovations, especially his large ownership in Tesla which grew enormously in value in November 2021.

Jeff Bezos: Jeff Bezos started Amazon and is now the executive chairman. His total wealth is approximately $193.9 billion (around 16 lakh crore Indian Rupees), making him the third richest worldwide. He grew from running an online bookstore into leading a massive e-commerce business.

Mark Zuckerberg: Mark Zuckerberg created Facebook and Meta Platforms. He is the fourth richest with $165.1 billion (around 13 lakh crore Indian Rupees). Zuckerberg’s idea to connect people globally through social networks brought him great wealth and influence.

Larry Ellison: Larry Ellison co-founded the tech company Oracle Corporation. He is the fifth richest person with $143.8 billion (around 11 lakh crore Indian Rupees). Ellison’s technology innovations and real estate businesses made him very wealthy.

Warren Buffett: Warren Buffett is an investor and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway. He is the sixth richest with $130.4 billion (around 10 lakh crore Indian Rupees). Buffett is skilled at choosing good investments and also gives much money to good causes.

Bill Gates: Bill Gates started the company Microsoft. He is seventh richest with $124.5 billion (around 10 lakh crore Indian Rupees). In addition to his technology business, Gates has given billions to charitable work.

Larry Page: Larry Page co-founded Google and was previously the CEO of Alphabet Inc, Google’s parent company. He has an estimated $123.3 billion (around 10 lakh crore Indian Rupees), making him the eighth richest. Page’s innovations in internet search and leadership made him very wealthy.

Steve Ballmer: Steve Ballmer used to be the CEO of Microsoft. His total wealth of $121.5 billion (around 10 lakh crore Indian Rupees) makes him the ninth richest. His time leading Microsoft and ownership of the Los Angeles Clippers basketball team contributed greatly to his riches.

Sergey Brin: Sergey Brin co-founded Google with Larry Page. Brin’s $118.2 billion (around 9 lakh crore Indian Rupees) places him as the tenth wealthiest person worldwide. His pioneering work in internet technology and ongoing role at Google’s parent Alphabet made him immensely rich.
