People queue up at “BabaKaDhabha” a street food stall in Delhi’s Malviya Nagar after a video of the octogenarian owner couple went viral on social media on Wednesday. The video portrayed the owner couple almost in their tears saying that there has been no sale since the pandemic struck the country and people started to refrain from buying food from the street side.

After a customer captured their video and publicised their ‘Matar Paneer’ an Indian dish prepared with Peas and Cottage cheese. He very lovingly mentioned how their dish was tastier than the ones of Five-star restaurants and that it had a rich colour and taste. As the couple started to tear up, he consoled them saying that God had better plans for them and that they shouldn’t lose hope.

The video trended on social media platforms across the country and the platform played it magic for a better cause as on Thursday, scores of people queued outside their stall to taste their delicacy. The couple is overwhelmed at the love people are showing them and are grateful for the same.

“There was no sale during COVID19 lockdown but now it feels like whole India is with us,” says owner Kanta Prasad, who’s running the stall since 1990.
