Ahaan Panday to join hands with Mohit Suri for YRF’s young love story, filming to begin in 2024

2024 will be an exciting year as the film industry as well as the audience will witness some new faces. With a long list of debutantes this year, seems like many actors will get an opportunity to work in big films.

Aditya Chopra, owner of the well-known production house Yash Raj Films is recently in talks for introducing a new talent in the industry. A few days back, the report was released which showed that YRF studios have roped in Mohit Suri for the making of a young love story. It also suggested the movie will feature new faces.

Now, a report by Pinkvilla claims that Ahaan Panday will be making his acting debut with the young love story. The report asserts that Ahaan was signed by the studios about 5 years ago. Since then, he has been under the guidance and training of Aditya Chopra and is going through revised programs.

Ahaan has been kept under wraps for quite a few years and now he is all set to make his acting debut. Aditya Chopra and the team are planning on making the biggest blockbuster movie for Ahaan in the film industry.

Mohit Suri, who will be directing the upcoming film has been closely working with Ahaan for quite some time now. He wants to introduce Ahaan as a quintessential romantic hero and for the same, Ahaan has given multiple auditions.

The director wanted a fresh face for the romantic drama and wanted to witness Ahaan’s potential for the fascinating project. The film is expected to go on floors in the latter half of 2024.

Mohit Suri is well-known for his works in films such as Aashiqui 2 and Ek Villain among others. The film will be produced by YRF’s studio CEO, Akshay Widhani.

Yash Raj Films is preparing to introduce their next major singing superstar, ‘Bhajan Kumar,’ who will be played by Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal. Yes, you read that correctly!

On August 30, the production house vowed to debut the singing sensation at a lavish event in Mumbai. They did not, however, reveal anything about the artist.

However, just a day before the event, Vicky uploaded a photo of himself, implying that he is planning to surprise the audience with a prop from his next film The Great Indian Family.

In the caption of his post, Vicky wrote, “मिलते हैं कल! #yrf50 #TGIF.” Soon after he shared the post, fans were quick to draw parallels between Vicky and YRF’s announcement posts. “MY ADORABLE BHAJAN KUMAR,” a fan commented on his post.

In fact, YRF also shared a teaser of Bhajan Kumar’s song on YouTube. They wrote along with the video, “Dil thaam ke ho jaao taiyaar… maare entry – BHAJAN KUMAR 🌟 Introducing YRF’s singing star! Arriving tomorrow.”

Vicky stated on August 14 that he has teamed up with Manushi Chhillar for a family entertainer, which is due to hit theatres on September 22. The plot centres around the insanity that erupts within Vicky’s Indian family as a result of some unexpected circumstances.

Vijay Krishna Acharya wrote and directed the film, which is produced by Aditya Chopra’s YRF.

Aditya Chopra’s mother and Yash Chopra’s wife Pamela Chopra died on Thursday, 20th April. She was admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai for almost 15 days and was put on a ventilator. But she couldn’t recover and passed away.

Pamela Chopra was a playback singer, producer, writer and actor. She gave her contributions to various films directed by her husband Yash Chopra and even made a special appearance in the song ‘Ek duje ke Vaste’ with him. She also produced the movie ‘Aaina’ in 1993. Pamela Chopra was also a trained Bharatnatyam dancer when she was in school, but she didn’t showcase her talent publicly. They shared two sons, Aditya Chopra and Uday Chopra. While Aditya Chopra is a film producer and director, he is married to actress Rani Mukerji. Uday Chopra is an actor and film producer.

The family of Pamela Chopra revealed the news by taking it to Twitter and saying, “With heavy hearts, the Chopra family would like to inform that Pamela Chopra, 74, passed away this morning. YRF sidelines Ranveer Singh?

The action-packed comedy Pathaan, which starred Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham in the key roles, was released in theatres on January 25. It became one of the highest-grossing films in Indian cinema history, making more than Rs 1000 crore at the international box office.

The Siddharth Anand-directed film eventually had an OTT premiere on Amazon Prime Video on March 22 after nearly two months. Four brand-new sequences that were cut from the theatrical version of Pathaan were included in the OTT version. These scenes include one with Dimple Kapadia on a plane, one with SRK’s character being tortured in a Russian jail, one with Shah Rukh rejoining the elite unit JOCR (Joint Operations and Covert Research), and one with Dimple Kapadia on a flight, and a scene of Deepika Padukone being interrogated.

While Salman Khan was suppose to join Shahrukh Khan in U.A.E to shoot the climax of the film, but now according to the reports, there has been a change in their plans and schedule.

A source shared, “Siddharth Anand will now roll some of the scenes featuring SRK and Salman in Mumbai itself. Their travel plans are cancelled, owing to increase in Covid cases. Apparently the mandatory 14 day quarantine – 7 day institutional and 7 day home seems to be the reason behind this reschedule. The producers don’t want to risk it at this point. Instead, they will be filming some portions of the climax over the next few days at YRF itself.”

Further the source revealed, “The team at Yash Raj Films has already conducted a reccee in both Dubai as well as Istanbul. So even though the Dubai schedule may be delayed, the makers could opt to shoot a portion of the film in Istanbul.”

However, the source states that Dubai and the U.A.E will still serve as the backdrop in the film. “Few members of the team travelled and got the locations captured on their cameras. A few scenes were shot with body doubles too. They plan to use it differently in the film.”

Vicky Kaushal and Manushi Chhillar’s next film with Yash Raj Production has got a title. As per Bollywood Hungama report, the makers of the film have decided to title the film as “The Great Indian Family” or TGIF. “It’s a madcap comedy of errors and Vicky’s first comedy film. The movie revolves around a dysfunctional family and hence the title. It’s also called the same because TGIF is also a very millennial term. But it’s a tentative title. Aditya Chopra could also ask for a change on the same.”

Meanwhile, URI actor Vicky Kaushal is currently busy with a tight schedule. He is currently wrapping work on Vijay Krishna Acharya’s, later on he will be moving forward with Shashank Khaitan’s Mr. Lele and then Aditya Dhar’s Ashwatthama.

Furthermore, 2017 most gorgeous Miss World Manushi Chhillar will be making her blockbuster debut by starring opposite Akshay Kumar. The film has been titled as “Prithviraj,” which will be released this year in Diwali. Talking about YRF project “TGIF” is scheduled to release next year in 2022.

Certainly Prithviraj might ensure to make a strong debut of Manushi in the Bollywood industry.
