The makers of the much-anticipated action film ‘Baby John’ gave fans a return gift on Varun Dhawan’s birthday by unveiling a new poster of him.

On Instagram, film producer Murad Khetani published the poster and wished the actor a happy birthday.

Varun Dhawan is shown in the poster with long hair and a serious expression.

The film will also include Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, Jackie Shroff, and Rajpal Yadav in prominent roles. The film is titled ‘Baby John’ and is directed by A. Kaleeswaran. Atlee presents the film in collaboration with Jio Studios and Cine1 Studios.

The developers recently released an intriguing trailer for the film, which elicited a big response from fans. Murad Khetani, Priya Atlee, and Jyoti Deshpande co-produced the film.

Aside from that, Varun will appear in the Indian adaptation of the Hollywood series ‘Citadel’, staring Samantha Ruth Prabhu. It is an Indian adaptation of the Russo Brothers’ eponymous series.

Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden starred in the international version. The release date for Citadel in India has yet to be announced. Raj and DK made the Indian version.

Atlee has redefined mass filmmaking in India, cementing his place in Bollywood with the all-time smash Jawan. The excitement has been building since reports surfaced that Atlee was planning to present a Varun Dhawan-starring film.

After much speculation, the makers have finally revealed the title. #VD18 is now called Baby John, and the film is now in production.

The film is purportedly an official Hindi remake of Atlee’s Tamil smash Theri. The upcoming film would mark Keerthy Suresh’s Bollywood debut. The cast features Wamiqa Gabbi and Jackie Shroff. The project is being directed by Atlee’s protégé, Kalees.

Priya Atlee, Murad Khetani, and Jyoti Deshpande have all invested in the initiative. Thaman S. directed the music. It will be released on May 31.

Produced by Atlee and Murad Khetani, the film is tentatively titled “VD18” and is directed by Kalees. Keerthy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi are in the movie as well.
