Power Finance Corporation Limited has successfully transferred its wholly owned subsidiary, Wagdari Transmission Limited, to KCC Buildcon Private Limited. The transaction, completed on 27th March 2026, was valued at ₹4,41,10,826, as per the Share Purchase Agreement.

Wagdari Transmission Limited was established for the development of the ‘Transmission Scheme for Establishment of 400/220 kV AIS Wagdari (Dist, Solapur)’. Despite its strategic purpose, the subsidiary contributed negligibly to the turnover, revenue, or income of the listed entity during the last financial year.

KCC Buildcon Private Limited emerged as the successful bidder for the acquisition. It is important to note that KCC Buildcon does not belong to the promoter or promoter group of Power Finance Corporation Limited.

The transaction does not fall within the purview of related party transactions and was conducted at arm’s length. Additionally, it is not considered a slump sale. The consideration for the sale and transfer of the subsidiary was determined in accordance with guidelines issued by the Ministry of Power, Government of India.
