Maruti Suzuki reports production of 209,565 vehicles in April 2026

Maruti Suzuki India Limited has reported a total production of 209,565 vehicles in April 2026, marking a significant increase from the previous year’s figure of 179,956. This growth reflects the company’s robust manufacturing capabilities across various vehicle categories.

In the mini segment, which includes models such as the Alto and S-Presso, production reached 17,745 units, up from 9,714 units in April 2025. The compact segment, featuring popular models like the Baleno, Celerio, Dzire, Ignis, Swift, and WagonR, recorded a production volume of 88,623 units, compared to 82,576 units in the same month last year.

Passenger cars, encompassing both mini and compact categories, saw a total production of 106,368 units, an increase from 92,290 units in April 2025. The utility vehicles segment, which includes models such as the Brezza, Ertiga, e Vitara, Fronx, Jimny, Victoris, XL6, and OEM Models, produced 87,518 units, up from 72,640 units in the previous year.

The production of vans, specifically the Eeco model, was recorded at 12,211 units, slightly up from 11,854 units in April 2025. The total production of passenger vehicles stood at 206,097 units, compared to 176,784 units in the previous year.

Additionally, Maruti Suzuki‘s production of light commercial vehicles, specifically the Super Carry model, amounted to 3,468 units, an increase from 3,172 units in April 2025.
