Alaya F’s performance became talk of the town: U-Turn movie review

The seventh remake of 2016’s Kannada film by the same name featuring Alaya F in lead role has hit the screen. The plot of U-Turn revolves around Radhika Bakshi (Alaya F, the protagonist) who is working as an intern in a media house. As a part of her job she is assigned to develop a story on the newly constructed NTPC flyover in Chandigarh where motorists remove the divider blocks to take a U-Turn and don’t put the blocks back which leads to fatal accidents.

Delving into the depth of the story makes us aware about the fact that Radhika interviewed some of the drivers who took u-turn and one day when one among those drivers found dead in his own house Radhika became the prime suspect in cops perspective. When police officer Arjun Sinha (Priyanshu Painyuli) started the investigation found that all the motorists that took u-tuirn on that flyover in past one year and some of them were interviewed by Radhika were no more. Radhika tries to prove herself innocent and in the meantime some supernatural activities are being encountered.

Alaya F’s performance should be appreciated. Her acting to some extent over shadowed the weak script and unorganized plot. Director Arif has done a good job altogether. Some scenes were thrilling enough to give goosebumps. But altogether some parts were not connected to the plot.In short we can sum up the movie as not so good, not so bad. Some segments needed perfection.

On Thursday afternoon, the creator of the new thriller U-Turn, which stars Alaya F, unveiled the trailer.

The movie, which is based on the 2016 Kannada supernatural thriller U Turn, is the sixth translation of the original. Fans liked the clip since they thought it looked intriguing and had some nice things to say about Alaya.

Alaya Furniturewala, aka Alaya F, has significantly impacted the industry in a short amount of time. The actress has previously been in Gen Z-favourite productions, and she is now returning with a thriller for her fans.

At the beginning of the caravan, a mysterious death occurs. The police said that even though it appears to be a suicide, they won’t know for sure until they arrive. They track down the young journalist Radhika (Alaya), who is the subject of their investigation.

Radhika, however, claims that her only involvement in the case is through an investigation into a story of an illegal U-turn on a flyover that led to multiple accidents. As long as bodies keep appearing, the police aren’t going to listen to Radhika, so she needs to show them that she’s innocent.

Shraddha Singh appeared in the 2016 rendition of U Turn, which received positive reviews from critics. Since then, it has been transcribed into Malayalam as “careful” and into Sinhala, Filipino, and Bengali as “flyover,” “U turn,” and “turn.”

The 2018 Tamil-Telugu multilingual version starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu is probably the most well-known in India.

The Hindi version, which also includes Priyanshu Painyuli, Rajesh Sharma, Manu Rishi Chadha, and Aashim Gulati, was directed by Arif Khan. A Balaji Telefilms production, U-turn, will air on Zee5 on April 28. The trailer link is given below:
