Toyota has quietly increased the prices of its popular MPV, the Innova Hycross, by up to ₹36,000. The updated pricing now ranges from ₹19.94 lakh to ₹31.34 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

The Innova Hycross is offered in six trims: GX, GX(O), VX, VX(O), ZX, and ZX(O), catering to various customer needs. The entry-level GX and GX(O) variants are now costlier by ₹17,000, while the mid-spec VX and VX(O) trims see a hike of up to ₹35,000. Meanwhile, the top-tier ZX and ZX(O) trims witness the steepest increase of ₹36,000.

Powertrain Options

The base variants of the Innova Hycross are powered by a robust 172hp, 2.0-litre petrol engine, paired with an automatic transmission for smooth driving. Higher-end variants feature a more advanced 184hp strong-hybrid powertrain, delivering both power and fuel efficiency, ideal for environmentally conscious buyers.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has announced that the Innova Hycross MPV has achieved a significant milestone, surpassing 1 lakh units sold in India. Launched in November 2022, the hybrid MPV quickly gained popularity, offering both seven- and eight-seat configurations. In February 2024, the company celebrated 50,000 units sold, and the next 50,000 units were sold in just eight months, showcasing the growing demand.

Due to overwhelming popularity, Toyota temporarily halted bookings for the top-spec ZX variants in May 2024. These bookings were reopened in August, but the MPV’s high demand continues, with a waiting period of up to six months for the premium variants.

The Innova Hycross is available in six trims across 12 variants, with prices ranging from Rs 25.97 lakh to Rs 30.98 lakh (ex-showroom). It offers two engine options: a 2.0-litre petrol engine (170 bhp, 205 Nm torque) with a CVT and a 2.0-litre strong-hybrid engine (181 bhp) paired with an e-Drive transmission.
