Aishwarya Rai discussed the controversial event during her appearance on Karan Johar’s celebrity conversation programme Koffee With Karan. The incident occurred during the making of Khakee, and it was stated by Star and Style magazine that she was caught red-handed by Raveena with Akshay. Aishwarya disclosed the whole episode and said she sued the magazine for publishing such an untrue account of her and Akshay. Aishwarya withheld the identity of the actress whom Raveena exposed as having slept with Akshay. She recalled the same thing, saying, “Well, at the very beginning of my career, I was very furious, and I had taken, Star and Style to court, because they had carried an article when the whole world knew who it was and not me. But it was presented that I was caught with Akshay Kumar (laughs), and Raveena had come and apparently blasted me when it was absolutely untrue. Everybody knew who that was; it wasn’t me.”

Veteran actress Tanuja is released from the hospital after being admitted to the ICU

Tanuja, the legendary actress, has been discharged from the hospital in Mumbai after being taken there recently due to age-related health issues. Through her roles in multiple Bollywood films over the years, the actress has established a name for herself in the industry. Remarkably, she began her acting career in 1950 with Hamari Beti as a child. The actress was released from the hospital on Monday night after receiving a green card, according to the most recent health update.

The renowned actress started having certain age-related issues and was later hospitalised to the intensive care unit at Juhu Hospital in Mumbai. Fans were left confused when soon after rumours about the same started to appear online. But as of right now, we know Tanuja was discharged from the hospital on Monday evening.

A PTI story cited an anonymous source as saying, “She was discharged from the hospital late last night as all her health parameters were normal.”Fans, who had been anxiously awaiting an update on her health and hoping for a speedy recovery, have surely been greatly relieved by the news.

With the release of the film Hamari Beti in 1950, the 80-year-old began her career as a child artist. In addition to seeing her older sister Nutan launched, the film is also a social comedy. She starred in her first motion picture, 1961’s Hamari Yaad Aayegi, around ten years later.

Kajol’s mother Tanuja has been hospitalised in Juhu for age-related illness, under observation in the ICU. PTI quoted a source as saying, “She is under observation and is doing well. There’s nothing to worry about.” There is yet to be a statement released from her family. For the unversed, the veteran actress is the daughter of filmmaker Kumarsen Samarth and actress Shobhna Samarth. She has worked extensively in Hindi and Bengali cinema. Tanuja married filmmaker Shomu Mukherjee.

Tanuja started her acting career with Hamari Beti in 1950 as a child actor. Her first film was Hamari Yaad Aayegi in 1961. In Bengali cinema, she worked in films like Deva Neya, Anthony-Firingee, Teen Bhuvaner Parey and Rajkumari, among many other blockbusters.

Tanuja turned 80 in September. Kajol, Tanisha and Ajay all took to social media to wish her a happy birthday. Kajol wrote, “Happy eightieth birthday, mom. I can never thank you enough for everything you’ve taught me by example and still continue to do so today. I love you to bits and pieces…Eight decades of love, wisdom, and laughter! Happy Birthday to my incredible Mom!”

Ajay Devgn recently shared a very special message for mother-in-law Tanuja as she made an appearance in the Super Dancer Chapter 4. Ajay, who is married to Tanuja’s daughter Kajol thanked her for “raising her daughters” well.

While Tanuja appeared on the show she was made to see a few video messages from her family members-Kajol, Tanishaa Mukherjee and Ajay Devgn. In the video, Ajay said, “As a person, she is frank and candid. As a mother-in-law, I do not have a typical son-in-law (and) mother-in-law relationship with her. She is there as an elder, whenever I need.”

Ajay Devgn further added, “She has brought up her daughters well and I really love that about her.”

Kajol in her message said, “Sabse badi gift meri maa ne jo mujhi di hai (The biggest gift that my mother has ever given to me) is upbringing.” Kajol also added that she wishes to give the same upbringing to her kids and hopes that her kids may also give the same to their children. Tanuja got emotional as she heard these heartwarming messages and wiped he tears. The judges of the show (Shilpa Shetty, Anurag Basu, and Geeta Kapur) were also seen empathizing with Tanuja.

Meanwhile, Shilpa and Tanuja were also seen dancing together on the stage on the show.

This film depicts the plight of Muslim women in Hyderabad that was forced into the practice of ‘bride buying’ for rich men from the Gulf countries. Naseeruddin Shah brilliantly plays the role of Salim, a poet in love with a married woman Najma played by Smitha Patil.

7. Mirch Masala

This movie is about the oppression of women in the villages of the pre-independence era. Naseeruddin Shah played a role of an arrogant, promiscuous and evil Subedar (tax collector) who wants to make Sonbai yield to his sexual desires.

8. Sarfarosh

This movie starred Aamir Khan and Naseeruddin Shah. In this film, Aamir Khan played the role of Supercop. While Naseeruddin played the role of singer cum Indo-Pak terrorist, Gulfam Hassan. Naseeruddin displayed a role of a person who was torn between two countries after the partition. He expressed the pain of not being accepted insider of the country quite beautifully.
