Actor Sonu Sood who has been actively involved in helping the underprivilege receive Covid-aid, shared a video of a crowd gathered outside his Mumbai residence captioning it, “The day this crowd disappears, I will feel the miseries have ended. Let’s make this happen soon, together.”

In the video, Sonu was spotted meeting several people, including an old lady and a disabled man. Later in the same video, a woman gave Sonu her blessings, and said in Hindi, “What you’ve done, no one else could have.”

Several people have been congregating outside Sonu’s house, looking for assistance during the Covid-19 pandemic. Sonu believes that the day the crowd disperses it would signal the end of people’s miseries.

Ever since the first lockdown, Sonu has helped thousand of people get out of misery, starting for the provisions he made for the migrant laborers who set out walking towards their homes in remote interiors due of lack of facilities.

Sonu has, however, also been targeted by certain people, who have accused him of being duplicitous.

Sonu also receives his fair share of prank requests, such as expensive vacations, phones, and sponsoring weddings. Recently, a man asked Sonu to buy an iPhone for his girlfriend.

Sonu Sood has been on high alert since the pandemic began. He has gone above and beyond to help everyone. The actor has frequently expressed how wonderful and satisfying it is to be able to help someone. However, there are days when his efforts do not achieve the desired consequences, and he loses someone despite the support. On Wednesday, he resorted to Twitter to discuss similar instances and express how sorry he is to witness so much grief around him. He asked for kindness as well.

“A 25 years boy whom we were trying to save, lost his battle to covid today. All these days despite knowing that his survival chances of survival were minimal. l would speak to the doctor everyday with hope,” he tweeted, adding, “Never had the guts to share the reality with his parents, who knew what was coming. When u lose someone, u wish u could save someone. Another 29 year young bodybuider whom we saved is now critical in a hospital in telangana.Spoke to the inconsolable sister for 20 mins and gave her hope. Feel very sad to see so much of sorrow around. God be kind.”

Sonu Sood has recently completed 19 years in the film industry. As the country battles the second wave of Covid-19, the actor thinks he has now discovered his real calling. He has actively helped people find Covid supplies such as beds, oxygen cylinders, and medicines.

The actor will appear in the upcoming films “Prithviraj” and “Kisaan.”

Sonu Sood, an actor who has been doing his best to save lives in these difficult times, recently took to Twitter to lament her passing.

The Simmba star retweeted Dr. Monika Langeh’s tweet that read, “I am very sorry..we lost the brave soul.. please pray for the family and the kid to bear this loss.” Sharing her post, Sonu wrote, “So so sad, never ever she would have imagined that she won’t be able to see her family again. Life is so unfair. So many lives which deserved to live are lost. Sonu made headlines recently after assisting cricketer Harbhajan Singh in organizing Remdesivir injections for a Covid patient in Karnataka. In Meerut, the Dabangg actor assisted Suresh Raina in obtaining an oxygen cylinder for his aunt. The 47-year-old celebrity had also taken in oxygen plants from France and other countries to be built in various locations throughout India.

A year after first taking charge of serving the people of India, Sonu Sood is now in talks with companies in France, Taiwan, and China to acquire oxygen cylinders, and set up plants in India, should the third wave hit.

“We have a Zoom meeting with them after 20 days. We should get our first set [of oxygen plants]. We are working on the logistics and will put things together. I am learning a lot of things as we go about dealing with the pandemic.”

The actor, who has been attending to requests from struggling citizens daily, has enabled them to source cylinders and concentrators. He also collaborated with hospitals and organisations to facilitate the same. Should he be able to procure the required oxygen plants from France, he hopes to provide them to states like Delhi, Punjab, Maharastra, and Uttar Pradesh. Oxygen plants are large industrial systems capable of providing several cylinders’ worth of gas per day. The oxygen generated can be supplied straight to the site of use, either through a pipeline or via cylinders.

“The idea is to be prepared for the third wave. We have upped the number of members on the team that is catering to rural areas so that we can reach out to everyone. A group of 400 people work on every call. We have realised that there are three major factors that people are struggling with — acquiring oxygen, hospital beds, and injections. I am sure that the government is doing its bit, but, it’s important to put things together in advance, this time around.”

The actor doesn’t mince words when establishing that the country “crashed” under the burden of the ongoing second wave. “Only one to two per cent of our GDP is spent on healthcare. So, we were never prepared for a pandemic. Yes, India is a densely populated country, but that can’t be an excuse. We have to admit that we went wrong.”

According to a source close to Sonu Sood informed the entertainment media that the actor is soon filing a case against these fraudsters.
