Aditya has been on the run ever since the investigation of the drug case has begun. Vivek Oberoi is Aditya’s brother-in-law, which made the Bengaluru CCB team search his house in Mumbai.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Sandeep Patil, Joint Commissioner of Police, was qouted saying that “In Cottonpet case, Aditya Alva is absconding. Vivek Oberoi is his relative and we have got the information that Alva is hiding there. So we wanted to check. A court warranted was obtained and the CCB team have gone to his house in Mumbai.”&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Earlier the same week on Tuesday, the team of CCB officials have arrested an individual who was alleged to be a part of the case and had been hiding from the police, who was later identified as Ashwin Bhogi. As per the reports, CCB has also interrogated the son of reformed underworld don Muthappa Rai, Ricky Rai with connection to the case. Muthappa Rai died in the month of May due to brain cancer.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In the FIR that has been registered, 12 accused have been named which also include the very well-known Sandalwood actors, Ragini Dwivedi and Sanjjanaa Galrani who are currently kept in judicial custody, along with the prime accused in the case. The police has also issued a notice for Aditya Alva and is on a lookout for the same.&lt;/p&gt;

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[&lt;p&gt;The Bengaluru Central Crime Branch(CCB) detained another man, possibly a drug peddler yesterday. 13 ecstasy tablets, 100 grams weed, 1.1 grams of MDMA and 0.5 grams of hashish were also recovered from him.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Sandeep Patil, Joint CP-Crime, said that one of the actors who is in police custody had been in contact with this man and visited his flat 3-4 times in the last few months. Yesterday the CCB had also arrested Kannada actor Kishore Shetty and confirmed that the drugs in the state are being sourced from Mumbai. Over the past few weeks, several drug busts happened in the raids conducted by the CCB and 12 people including actors, students and peddlers have been arrested.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Further investigation is underway.&lt;/p&gt;

According to CCB, Sanjjana’s friend Rahul Ranka and apparently a drug peddler Loum Pepper Samba were also taken into the custody in previous week. A few older reports also suggested that actress Sanjjana did not want to undergo dope test and created a ruckus in the hospital. The news report further added that the Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate’s court in Bengaluru sent the actress to 14 days custody after her arrest. Furthermore, the Central Crime Branch has reportedly arrested seven people out of the 12 persons who were inculpated in the drugs case.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;As per reports four other individuals who were also accused in the drugs nexus were also sent to judicial remand. The news reports also mention that Kannada actress Ragini Dwivedi has appealed for medical treatment for her back pain which was eventually denied by the court. The actress Ragini Dwivedi has been in custody for around 11 days.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The news reports state that Ragini Dwivedi previously meddled with her urine sample while undergoing the dope test. The actress mixed water with her urine sample so that the results come out inaccurate. The actress reportedly threw tantrums while the medical staff was trying to take her medical test. The actress was finally made to redo the test. The authorities also took a sample of Ragini Dwivedi’s hair follicles to determine if she had taken drugs recently.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;We have filed a suo motu FIR (first information report) at the Cottonpet police station in the city against Ragini and others, including drug peddlers Shivaprakash, Ravi Shankar, Rahul Shetty and party planner Viren Khanna for their drug links in the Kannada film industry,” city joint commissioner of police Sandeep Patil disclosed to the reporters. Reportedly, the accused have been booked under various sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 and 120b of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;While Ragini and Shetty have been detained for further questioning in the drug case, Ravi Shankar, a clerk in the state road transport office has been remanded to a 5-day judicial custody.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Others named in the case are party organiser Viren Khanna, businessman Prashanth Ranka, Vaibhav Jain, Aditya Alva, African drug supplier Loum Pepper Samba, Prashanth Raju, Ashwin, Abhiswami, Rahul Tonse and Vinay.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;We have also seized 2.1 litres of hash oil and 2 kg of weed oil from the trio – Jashin, Subramani and Vidush,” Assistant Commissioner of Police P.K. Gowtham told IANS.&lt;/p&gt;
