Manappuram Finance appoints new directors and plans EGM for shareholder approval

Manappuram Finance has announced significant changes to its Board of Directors, following investments by BC Asia Investments XXV Limited and BC Asia Investments XIV Limited. The Board approved the appointment of Mr. Rishi Mandawat and Mr. Ashish Arvind Kotecha as Additional Non-Executive Non-Independent Directors, nominated by the investors. Additionally, Ms. Rosemary Sebastian, Mr. Rajesh Kumar Rathanchand, Mr. Balaji Vijayaraghavan Veeravalli, and Mr. Rakesh Induprasad Bhatt have been appointed as Additional Non-Executive Independent Directors.

The company has also decided to convene an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) to seek shareholders’ approval for these appointments. This move aligns with the requirements of the Companies Act, 2013, and the SEBI Listing Regulations.

The Board meeting, where these decisions were made, commenced at 12:00 P.M. and concluded at 12:45 P.M. on May 5, 2026.
