Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan led tributes to veteran Tamil producer R.B. Choudary, who passed away in a horrific road accident near Udaipur, Rajasthan. The Super Good Films founder died on May 5 after his car collided with a road divider on the Beawar-Pali-Pindwara highway.

Kamal took to Twitter, expressing profound grief: “Deeply saddened by the tragic demise of our dear producer R.B. Choudary garu. A pillar of South Indian cinema, his contributions shaped generations. My heartfelt condolences to Jiiva, Jithan Ramesh, and family. Om Shanti.” The post resonated across industries, highlighting Choudary’s four-decade legacy producing 80+ films.

The accident occurred around 3 PM when Choudary’s white SUV lost control, smashing into the divider and nearly plunging off the highway. Despite rushed medical aid, the 84-year-old succumbed to injuries. His body arrived in Chennai May 6 for final rites at his residence, where stars paid respects. Son Jiiva broke down inconsolably at the airport, viral videos capturing his devastation.
