Puneeth suffered chest trouble during a usual exercise on October 29, 2021, and was brought to a local clinic before being transferred to Vikram Hospital, where he died tragically.

Puneeth Rajkumar was also recognised for actively participating in public health campaigns supporting COVID-19 safety measures, such as vaccination. However, as there is a discussion regarding the negative effects of Covishield, supporters show their regret by associating it to Appu’s death.

AstraZeneca is currently facing a lawsuit in the United Kingdom on allegations that their vaccine caused deaths. 51 lawsuits have been filed against the corporation. In court documents, AstraZeneca admitted that Covishield can, in extremely rare cases, induce Thrombosis with Thrombocytopenia Syndrome (TTS).

Late actor Puneeth Rajkumar’s father-in-law Bhagmane Revanath, passes away at the age of 78 due to a heart attack on Sunday 20th February. He had an angioplasty 20 years back. His wife Ashwini Rajkumar is still under shock and trying to process the loss.

Late Bhagmane Revanath was under a lot of pressure and stress ever since his son Puneeth Rajkumar passed away last year in October. Revenant suddenly fell ill and got hospitalized at a private hospital, he soon passed away as he was not responding well to the treatment.

Like her husband Puneeth Rajkumar, Ashwini Rajkumar’s father also donated his eyes.

The actor will grace the television screens one last time and entertain his fans with his last movie that was yet to release but Puneeth Rajkumar passed away before the day could come. His last film is titled;’ James’ as a tribute to the late star no other film will be screened for the week in Karnataka. After being brought to the hospital for major cardiac arrest, Puneeth Rajkumar, well known as Appu, exhaled his final breath yesterday. The news of his death has shocked his followers and the rest of the country. The actor was just 46 years old when he died.

The lifeless remains of Puneeth’s Rajkumar are presently on display at Kanteerava Stadium. Celebrities from various film sectors, as well as fans from all across Karnataka, have flocked to Bengaluru to pay their tributes to the late actor. Arjun Sarja paid his respects to Puneeth during his cremation. As he bids farewell to his beloved friend, the actor is seen in tears.

On Sunday, October 31, the actor will be cremated with full state honours and draped in tri-color at Kanteerava Studio, where his parents were also interred.

Kannada Actor Puneeth Rajkumar died today in a Bengaluru hospital due to a heart attack. Puneeth, 46 had been admitted to Vikram Hospital today morning in an “unresponsive” condition. However, in the afternoon, Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai informed of his demise through a tweet: “I am deeply shocked that Kannada celebrity Shri Puneeth Rajkumar died of a heart attack. The death of Kannadigar’s favourite actor, Appu, has caused enormous loss to Kannada and Karnataka and I pray that God will have mercy on his soul and give his fans the power to endure this pain.”

However earlier today, News agency ANI tweeted: “Actor Puneeth Rajkumar was admitted after suffering chest pain at 11.30 am. Trying our best to treat him. His condition is serious. Can’t say anything as of now. His condition was bad when brought to the hospital, treatment on in ICU: Dr. Ranganath Nayak, Vikram Hospital, Bengaluru.” The hospital also said that the actor had been brought in unresponsive but that doctors were “trying (their) best to treat him.”

Puneeth Rajkumar was the son of veteran actor Rajkumar. He was lovingly called “Appu” by his fans – after the 2002 film in which he played his first principal role – and “Power Star.” Puneeth’s older brother Shiva Rajkumar is also a megastar.

However, Puneeth started as a child star – he was just six months old when he was cast in 1976 films Premada Kanike and Aarathi. Starting from Appu, he has acted in more than 29 movies- as a lead actor including Mourya, Arasu, Raam and Anjani Putra. He was also a singer and is recognized for his dance abilities. Puneeth made his TV debut in 2012 as Anchor of Kannadada Kotyadhipathi, the Kannada version of the game show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? Puneeth Rajkumar was married to Ashwini Revanth and has two children.
