According to a report by the Bombay Times, it has been known that Prateik and Priya have taken their relationship to the next level. Prateik proposed to her in November last year and they are engaged.
On the 26th of November, Prateik asked her if she would marry him and she said yes. The proposal happened two days before his birthday. A source close to the couple said that they saw it coming. Prateik went on his knees and asked Priya to be with him for life. The couple’s friends are all excited and cannot wait for their marriage.

The couple have been together for three years. They made their relationship official on Valentine’s Day last year. Prateik and Priya won’t be having a grand engagement ceremony for now. They have decided to combine it with their wedding festivities.

Last year, on Prateik’s birthday, his girlfriend shared an intimate picture of both of them. They were seen sharing a kiss. Priya captioned the picture by writing, “Happiest birthday to my bestest half.”
In an interview, Prateik opened up about his relationship with Priya. He stated how blessed he is to have her in his life. Though he has committed many mistakes, there’s one right thing he would have done right for there’s Priya in his life. It was in 2020 when they started talking and hit it off instantly and the rest is history.

Actor Prateik Babbar recently celebrated his birthday with close friends and family members. His girlfriend Priya Banerjee took to her Instagram account and shared a cosy picture of both of them. The actor resides in a sea-facing apartment in Bandra which was gifted by his mother actress Smita Patil.

In a recent conversation with the Bombay Times, Prateik revealed his early life with addiction and rehab. The actor said, “Addiction is a disease. I almost lost myself,” he says. At the age of 18, Prateik was “tricked” by his family to a rehabilitation center. “I was obnoxious, nobody could talk to me. I was always intoxicated. So, they had to trick me to get into rehab. And rehab was difficult. I remember waking up in a rehab in a bed, in a straitjacket. I was just screaming, crying,” as reported by Bombay Times.

He stated that at the age of 18, it was difficult for him. It was all dark and suicidal and he wanted to be with his grandmother and mother and it was painful.

Prateik expressed that when the second time drugs re-entered his life, he was 25. He shares about his heartbreak that happened at that time with actress Amy Jackson. The actor remarked that life has been unfair to him in many ways. It took away the most precious emotion a child can have.

The Ekk Deewana Tha star shared about the projects he fell out of just because of addiction. “I felt like the industry was being unfair to me. When I slipped back to self-destruction the films were getting shelved as I was too drugged up to say my dialogues or show up on set. Then I had a slump in my career. Everything was just so fast, I didn’t understand. It was overwhelming for me. Everything, the politics, the vices, and then I crashed, everything came crumbling down,” as reported by Bombay Times.

Pratik married Sanya Sagar in the year 2019 but they got divorced in 2019. He said it was heartbreaking and complicated. Although he didn’t share the real reason for the separation, it seems like things didn’t work out for him and his ex-wife. Though he feels grateful that everything happened the right way, that’s why he met Priya Banerjee, his girlfriend.

The actor states that he is blessed to have Priya in his life. They have been seeing each other since 2020 and have finally made their relationship official.

Actor Prateik Babbar finally revealed his relationship on Valentine’s Day. He is said to have been seeing actor Priya Banerjee. Prateik displayed their matching tattoos in their first Instagram photo, which was taken on Tuesday. In the photograph, Prateik and Priya can be seen posing with their backs to the camera in the sunshine at an unnamed location.

There have been rumours about Prateik and Priya’s connection for the past year. But neither of the two accepted or rejected them. Sanya Sagar and Prateik were previously married. They reportedly divorced after being married on January 23, 2019, while the area was under lockdown.

Raj Babbar and Smita Patil, two seasoned performers, are the parents of Prateik Babbar. He made his acting debut in the Aamir Khan produced “Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na” (2008) starring Imran Khan and Genelia D’Souza. The most recent time Prateik was on screen was in Madhur Bhandarkar’s Indian Lockdown. In the film, he played a migrant labourer who suffered from the COVID-19 lockdown in India.

“I was also extremely invested because the first time I met Madhur sir, he said, ‘Prateik teri maa aise kirdaar nibhaati thi. Tu agar ye jee-jaan se karega to ye tribute ho sakta hai Smita Patil ko (Your mother used to play such roles. If you do it with full honesty, it can be a tribute to Smita Patil)’. And I just said, when do we start? Every single day on set, I used to think about her,” he said while talking about his role.

Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput died in an apparent suicide on June 14, 2020, his death is being investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation with the Enforcement Directorate and the Narcotics Control Bureau.

Sushant’s family had accused his then-girlfriend Rhea Chakrobathy of assisting his suicide and using his money although she has denied those accusations. Recently Prateik Babbar in an interview said that Sushant had an aura and he and Sushant were acquaintances and they would bump into each other, “Sushant and I were acquaintances who would bump into each other at events. I’d even seen him at the gym a couple of times. I had noticed that Sushant had an aura about him, which was not like anyone else’s in the business. He was unique and he stood out”

Later he added “He was an extremely warm, fun-loving, and an easy-to-talk-to kind of person. But he would also drift away sometimes into his own world. Sushant loved having conversations; not only was he always trying to have a good time on the set, but he would ensure others were having fun, too. Sushant loved talking about quantum physics, planets, stars, and sciences. I still remember he wanted to visit Antarctica after shooting the film. The moment finally felt right. She’s inked exactly where she’s supposed to be, on my heart. 1955 signifies the year she was born & now with me till infinity,” he added.

On the work front, he has a bunch of exciting projects in his kitty. This includes ‘Bachan Pandey’ and ‘India Lockdown’.

With the declaration of the 67th National Film Awards, late Sushant Singh starrer Chhichore has received the award for best Hindi film. The awards were delayed by a year owing to the COVID-19 pandemic. The awards were announced for films of the year 2019.

Once Chhichore was declared the winner, producer Sajid Nadiadwala said in a statement that the award is dedicated to Sushant. “On behalf of NGE, I dedicate this extremely prestigious award to Sushant Singh Rajput. We can’t get over his loss ever but I sincerely pray that this award gives a little bit of happiness to his family and fans which includes me. And I am tremendously grateful to Nitesh Tiwari for giving us all this very special movie.”

John Abraham chooses big screen over streaming platforms, says ‘I am a big-screen hero, not available for subscription fee’

John Abraham is back on the big screen with the gangster-cop drama film ‘Mumbai Saga,’ says that he will always choose the big screen over streaming platforms.

The actor states that the film industry needs to instill confidence in cinema owners as they open their theatres with adherence to the COVID-19 protocol, so that audience can once again look forward to the community viewing experience.

In an interview with PTI, he revealed, “For me, the joy is reaching out to common people through my films because we are here to entertain them. I want to make good films. I don’t care about success and failure. I like to succeed in reaching out to more people. I want the audience to have that big-screen experience. We lost that sense of big-screen, heroism in films, and ‘Mumbai Saga’ will bring that back.”

He added, “There are few actors who see their films and realize it is best to go on OTT directly to save from the embarrassment of coming on the big screen… Films are judged on every medium. (And) They are ripping apart films on OTT.”

The actor revealed that he doesn’t want to take the theatrical experience from the audience. He added, “The OTT platform is a great avenue and an option. But for me, it has always been about the big screen, being a big-screen hero. I won’t be available for the subscription fee,” he added.

John Abraham will be seen in Mumbai Saga, which is directed by Sanjay Gupta. The actor plays a gangster named Amartya Rao. The actor, who has played grey roles in movies like Shootout at Wadala and Race 2, said he enjoys playing the anti-hero.

“Normal has become boring. If you make a regular film, where the script is conceptually different and then you play a regular man, it is fine. People also love the anti-hero and they are going to relate to the film because we all are a face of rebellion in this country.”

Mumbai Saga also features Emraan Hashmi, Kajal Aggarwal, Mahesh Manjrekar, Suniel Shetty, Prateik Babbar, Rohit Roy, Gulshan Grover, and Amole Gupte. It is produced by T-Series, White Feather Films, and Sangeeta Ahir.

The star will also be seen in Satyameva Jayate 2 which will clash with Salman Khan’s Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai on the Eid holiday of May 13th. Further, Attack will be released on Independence Day week.

John Abraham, Emraan Hashmi starrer ‘Mumbai Saga’ has recently shared its first teaser. The film is based on 80’s and 90’s underworld don. We have already seen both Emraan and John nailing their role in the genre before this. The film is expected to have hardcore actions with both the actors soaked in blood, sweat, and tears.

Further talking about the teaser, the 1 min video starts with a bird eye view of Mumbai’s marine drive. A short tagline is displayed which says, “When Bomaby was not yet Mumbai.” John Abraham will be seen as Amartya Rao who’s a gangster and Emraan Hashmi will be seen as a supercop who has sworn oath to kill this gangster.

Akshay Kumar kickstarts shoot for ‘Bachchan Pandey’ in Jaisalmer, FIRST LOOK released

Superstar Akshay Kumar is back in business, he was the first to start stoot post lockdown. Akshay has already wrapped up the shoot for ‘Bell Bottom’ and he has completed shooting some scenes for ‘Atrangi Re’ and ‘Prithviraj.’ As per reports Akshay has commenced the shoot for Bachchan Pandey.

Further, the film is completely based on Uttar Pradesh but the makers have decided to shoot some parts in Jaisalmer. A complete set has been designed which apparently resembles a Uttar Pradesh town.

Furthermore, the makers were asked about the reason to shoot in desert city rather than UP. They said the structures of Jaisalmer look old but are pretty strong and beautiful. Those structures get portrayed beautifully on camera. Sets are designed in such a way that the audience won’t recognize the film location. And the makers have ensured it can be passed off as an Uttar Pradesh town convincingly. They are confident that shooting in Jaisalmer would give a nice touch to the film’s look and visuals.”

Moreover, initial photos and first looks have also been released by the makers of Bachchan Pandey. Akshay Kumar’s new look for the film unveiled, his rustic avatar and cataract eye got thumbs up from everyone. Positive reactions are pouring for Akshay’s look which has also created a sense of excitement in fans mind.

Bachchan Pandey also stars Kriti Sanon, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi, Pankaj Tripathi, Prateik Babbar, Abhimanyu Singh and Saharash Kumar Shukla, the film is directed by Farhad Samji and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.

The producers have scheduled the film to be released on Republic day 2022.
