The trailer of Salman Khan’s next ‘Radhe: Your most wanted Bhai’ was released earlier on Thursday (April 22). It took the internet by storm and fans loved it! Within the first 12 hours of the release, the trailer had more than 30 million views across all social media networks.

The movie will see Salman Khan back in the cop avatar and also stars Disha Patani. The action scenes shown in the trailer have excited the fans. The movie, just like Salman’s 2009 movie ‘Wanted’, is directed by Prabhu Deva. His character in ‘Wanted’ was also named Radhe.

‘Radhe: Your most wanted Bhai’ is a remake of the film ‘The Outlaws’. The trailer added to the excitement of fans when Salman was seen saying, “Ek Baar jo maine commitment kar di, phir toh apne aap ki bhi nahin sunta”, his famous dialogue from ‘Wanted’.

The much-awaited trailer of Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai just hit the Internet and it is a treat like no other for Bhaijaan’s fans. Salman Khan’s Eid offering is worth the wait as he exactly delivers what he promises. The Trailer is full of exciting action that should more than satisfy the fans.

The Trailer takes us back to Wanted and Dabangg both at the same time, “Ek baar jo maine commitment kardi uske baad to main apne aap ki bhi nahi sunta”

Jackie Shroff and Randeep Hooda are also seen in pivotal roles in the movie. The movie is all set to burn the theatres with the impeccable actings of the superstars.

The trailer starts with Randeep showing off his evil sides, while on the other hand, Salman Khan makes an entry in style as usual. Salman is an encounter specialist in the film who has 97 hits already under his belt. Encounter is a word that is said by many in the films, most of them dressed in khaki. There’s also a glimpse of Salman Khan and Disha Patni kissing, which also leaves the audience in shock and as well in a state of curiosity and a lot of questions about Salman’s no-lip lock policy on the screen. Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai is all set to hit the theatres on the eve of Eid, that is, May 13. However, Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the makers have decided to release the movie on OTT and in theaters, as we informed you earlier, the film will release on ZEE5 with ZEE’s pay per view service ZEEPlex and also, on DTH operators Tata Sky, Dish, Airtel Digital TV and D2H on the same day.

Keeping up with the tradition of releasing movies on the occasion of eid Superstar Salman Khan’s highly anticipated movie Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai is to be released on May 13.

Superstar Salman Khan fans are eagerly waiting for the release of Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, but due to COVID-19, many speculations are being made about the release of Khan’s upcoming Venture that the movie will skip theatrical release but will only release on OTT platforms.

Finally, film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and wrote: #RADHE #OTT RUMOURS BASELESS… There was speculation in the exhibition sector that #Radhe – starring #SalmanKhan – will skip theatrical release… Will stream on #OTT directly… FALSE… The producers are clear, #Radhe will release in cinemas, eyes #Eid2021 release.

Radhe will also be on ZEE5’s pay-per-view medium ZeePlex on the same day. The film makers announced the news on Wednesday, 21 April.

Besides this, the movie will also be available for the audience on various DTH services, including the likes of Dish, D2H, Tata Sky, and Airtel Digital TV, thereby giving the viewers a chance to watch the actioner on any platform of their choice.

Speaking on this Shariq Patel, CBO, Zee Studios shared, “The ongoing pandemic forced us to innovate, and we are proud to be the first to embark upon this new distribution strategy. While we all love to catch the latest movies at the nearest theatres, we realized we’d be doing a disservice to Salman’s fans nationwide if we aren’t able to release theatrically in all Indian states. We sensed the need for a pay-per-view solution along with theatres, which gives the consumers flexibility and convenience of viewing the film. There cannot be a better film than Radhe to offer the audiences who’ve been waiting for an out and out entertainer for over a year now. Radhe continues our network’s deep relationship with Salman Khan and we are looking to release the film in over 40 countries including theatrical release in major overseas markets.”

A spokesperson of Salman Khan Films’ adds, “It’s imperative that we all come together and think of out-of-the-box solutions for cinema as an industry during the current pandemic situation. We will support the theatre owners by releasing the film in as many theatres as we can, keeping in line with the rules and protocols laid down by the government. But, considering the guidelines and safety measures, we also need to devise ways to ensure that the film reaches all of our audience. We don’t want to deny the audience the choice of entertainment in the comfort of their homes during these times.”

The trailer of Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai will release Thursday (April 22).

Directed by Prabhu Deva, Radhe also stars Disha Patani in the lead role it also features Randeep Hooda and Jackie Shroff.

Salman Khan’s Radhe inspired by South Korean drama Sandglass?

Bhaijan is all set to hit the theatre bell once again and treat his fans after the pandemic year with “Radhe” which is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language action film directed by Prabhu Deva and produced by Salman Khan, Sohail Khan and Atul Agnihotri. The film stars Salman Khan, Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda, Jackie Shroff and Megha Akash. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on 13 May 2021 coinciding with Eid al-Fitr.

According to the reports, the film is based on the South Korean tv series Sandglass (hourglass). Sandglass is based on the tragic relationship of three friends (played by Choi Min-soo, Go Hyun-Jung, and Park Sang-won). A gangster, a prosecutor and a beautiful girl who’s connected to both – there’s action, emotion as well as thrill – everything that a Bollywood film requires. Exactly why Salman Khan narrowed down on the script to take inspirations for Radhe.

Radhe’s plot, on the other hand, will reportedly show Salman as an undercover cop who goes hammer and tongs to destroy a major drug cartel, apparently being run by actor Randeep Hooda’s character. As of now, the writers of the film are trying their best to Indianise the product to lessen the violent and sexual content, which is there in abundance in Radhe’s source material.

It is no secret that some of the top-grossing Bollywood films are inspired by movies that have been released in different parts of the globe. While Hollywood continues to be a major source of inspiration for Indian filmmakers, a new trend was also visible in the bygone decade, one that saw the Hindi film industry shifting its focus to the now sought-after South Korean film industry.

Salman Khan’s Bharat was released on Eid 2019 and turned out to be the biggest opener and one of the top-grossing movies of the actor’s career was also inpired from a South Korean drama, “Ode to My Father.” Directed by Yoon Je Kyun, the family-drama went on to become the fourth highest-grossing film in the history of South Korean cinema by selling more than 14.2 million tickets.

That being said, this is not the first time that Salman Khan will be seen playing Radhe on the big screen. The actor has headlined smash hits like Tere Naam and Wanted in the past in which he was called Radhe.

Prabhu Deva is married to a Mumbai based doctor, confirms his brother

Earlier this year, filmmaker and choreographer Prabhu Deva married a Mumbai based doctor. The news is confirmed by the choreographer’s brother Raju Sundaram in an interview to ETimes. The 47-year-old filmmaker married a doctor named Himani in May during the lockdown. When asked about the wedding, Sundaram told ETimes, “Well, you have the details. We are very happy about Prabhu Deva’s marriage.”

In their report, ETimes stated that Prabhu Deva met Himani while he was undergoing treatment for his back and legs. It was after that the duo fell in love with each other. The report also stated that the couple were in a live-in relationship for two months before their marriage. Their wedding reportedly took place in Chennai in the presence of Prabhu Deva’s family. It was also reported that Himani met Prabhu Deva’s family only twice – first in July or August and second time recently.

The filmmaker-choreographer was previously married to Ramlatha and was rumoured to be in a relationship with south actress Nayanthara. The actress is currently dating director Vignesh Shivan.

On the work front, Prabhu Deva is famous for choreographing songs such as Kay Sera Sera, Urvasi Urvasi, Muqabla. He has also acted in several films like Love Story 1999, Suyamvaram, Street Dancer 3D, Devi, and Devi 2. The choreographer also directed a few Hindi films like Wanted, Rowdy Rathore, R… Rajkumar, Action Jackson and Dabangg 3.

Not Diwali 2020, Salman Khan’s most awaited ‘Radhe’ to release next year, actor cancels shoot!

Salman Khan was very much excited to release ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai” over the Diwali weekend because he definitely missed Eid. He had reportedly booked a floor in Mehboob studios, Mumbai for a 10-day shoot. However, as WHO had announced that the Coronavirus can be airborne in closed and crowded the places, the schedule of the shoots are now postponed.

A source told Mid-Day, Salman Khan was supposed to come back to Mumbai in the month of August for resuming the filming. The source has been quoted by the publication as saying, “On Sunday, Salman called off the impending schedule after discussing with his team and co-producers Atul Agnihotri, Sohail Khan and Nikhil Namit. He felt that filming indoors could pose a risk to the health of the cast and crew. On the other hand, an outdoor shoot was not feasible in the monsoon. So, he has decided to hold off the stint till October-end, post which the unit will film the remaining portions — including a song — at outdoor locations.”

The action film, which has Salman Khan as an undercover cop, won’t be able to meet its deadline this Diwali and this is the reason for the release date to be postponed. The source had further revealed, Khan’s priority is safety and the makers are thus, now eyeing for a 2021 release. By that time the theaters might run like its normal days.
