Actress Pooja Bedi shares she is taking 17 herbs to cure from covid-19

Actress Pooja Bedi, who was recently tested positive for Covid-19. She has revealed, why she and her fiance Maneck Contractor have chosen not to get vaccinated.Furthermore, she said that she is ‘not anti-vaccine’ but the Covid-19 vaccine ‘is too new’.

Pooja also added that she has been having ’17 herbs kadha (also known as immunity booster drink)’ as a recovery measure.After being tested Covid-19 was positive. Pooja Bedi shared an Instagram video on Sunday evening which informed that Maneck Contractor and their house help have contracted the virus.

She had also said that she will allow her immunity, alternative healing and wellness practices to accelerate her healing.In an interview with Mid-Day Pooja said, “I’m not anti-vaccine. I’ve taken and also given my kids every tested vaccine from MMR, BCG, Tetanus to HPV etc.

The fastest vaccine took seven years to develop. This is too new. There are still some question marks about this Covid vaccine. And, then the need for two and now three vaccines.

It seems a bottomless cycle of vaccines I don’t wish to enter. I don’t wish to inject a trial vaccine into my body. 99% of those who were infected, survived before the vaccine.”

According to sources, Pooja also spoke on her Covid-19 challenges and the recovery measures she has been taking. “The cough and weakness are… oh my god.! I can see why people call this monster flu.

Sharing her Instagram video, Pooja had said, “COVID POSITIVE!!!! I have finally been diagnosed as COVID positive. I chose/choose to stay unvaccinated as it’s my personal decision.

Pooja Bedi has tested positive for Covid and has shared a video expressing hopes that her “natural immunity” will assist her to recover. Pooja Bedi, who had been vocal with regards to her “choice” of not taking the Covid vaccine, has educated fans that her fiance and housekeeper have also tested positive for the virus.

“I know I have been vocal about not taking the vaccine. For me, it was a choice that I took. I know that my immunity will naturally rise and I want to rely on my natural immunity. Each one of you, go make your own choices, this is my chronicled journey,” Pooja Bedi has said.

In a video that she posted online on Sunday, Pooja said, “Hello everyone! I have been wondering why I have not got the coronavirus till now. It is so infectious and everyone, at some point, is going to get it. Well, voila! Seems that I have now caught it. I have tested positive.”

She then, at that point, proceeded to uncover that she had been cleaning her cupboards and thought it was her dust allergy. Jaaved Jaaferi and Pooja Bedi recently opened up about their short-film ‘Padmavyuha’ directed by Raj Krishna, which portrays different indices of religion. In an interview with Hindustan Times, Jaaferi who has a short role in the film revealed that the thing which he liked about the film most is it’s non judgemental approach to the issue. While talking about it more Jaaved said, “I did it for Raj, I respect the intention and objective he has with the film. I like how he has told the story, keeping it neutral so that there are no judgments here. I saw the film and then he told me I would like you to do the voice and I wasn’t very apprehensive – ‘oh, what am I doing it is just a voice’ . Because when I saw it, I realised it (the voice) is an integral character. I have always been doing a voice and I think voice can have an impact if done in the right way, just like it is used in an impactful way in this film. “

Film Padmavyuha was screened at International Indian Film Festival Toronto last week, which talks about a professor of Religious Studies who receives a mysterious call, who initially being a non-believer of faith and religion later becomes a staunch follower and is ready to do anything to for it, by hook or crook. You don’t give the answers but raise the questions, which is very important. I think that was the beauty of it.” as put by Hindustan Times. Pooja Bedi who also has a role in the film of a woman who has been missing since a long also gave her opinion saying “I think it was also vaguely ambiguous because if you take any religion, it would all still apply. It is an exploration of morality.“

Raj Krishna while talking about Padmavyuha said, “I think I am making these films because I want to explore and understand Hinduism. I am a second generation American Indian (my mom is a Hindi teacher and that is how I know how to read and write Hindi). This is also my way of connecting with my heritage and that part of world.The film is an exploration of faith at its highest level. A religion studies professor has lost his faith and receives a call late night that takes him to a mysterious path. It leads him down a dark path that leads him to mystic puzzles and those puzzles lead him to a discovery of a global conspiracy. That conspiracy also reveals to him some new information about the history of Hinduism. Padmavyuh is a number of things – it is a mystery thriller, it is a Da Vinci Code style of a religious, mystery, puzzle. It is an exploration of faith, it is an exploration of religious fundamentalism.”
