Shyam Metalics reports 41.35% increase in CR coil sales volume for April 2026

Shyam Metalics and Energy Limited has announced a significant increase in its CR Coil/CR Sheets sales volume for April 2026, with a year-on-year growth of 41.35%. The company sold 15,539 metric tonnes (MT) in April FY27, up from 10,993 MT in April FY26. The average realisation per metric tonne also saw a substantial increase, rising by 19.44% from ₹70,168 in April FY26 to ₹83,810 in April FY27.

The company also reported a month-on-month decrease in sales volume by 3.36% from March FY26, where the sales volume was 16,080 MT. However, the average realisation per metric tonne improved by 3.45% from ₹81,016 in March FY26.

In the stainless steel segment, Shyam Metalics recorded a 10.89% year-on-year increase in sales volume, with 7,928 MT sold in April FY27 compared to 7,149 MT in April FY26. The average realisation per metric tonne surged by 25.30% year-on-year to ₹1,70,214 from ₹1,35,846. Month-on-month, the sales volume decreased by 24.63% from March FY26, with average realisation increasing by 11.52%.

The aluminium foil segment saw a 19.63% year-on-year increase in sales volume, with 1,885 MT sold in April FY27 compared to 1,576 MT in April FY26. The average realisation per metric tonne rose by 22.29% to ₹4,50,891 from ₹3,68,695. Month-on-month, the sales volume decreased by 12.72% from March FY26, while the average realisation increased by 5.82%.

Pellet sales volumes increased by 18.59% year-on-year to 1,23,507 MT in April FY27 from 1,04,148 MT in April FY26. The average realisation per metric tonne increased by 10.36% year-on-year to ₹9,718. Month-on-month, sales volumes increased by 15.52%, although the average realisation decreased by 0.53%.

Speciality alloys experienced a 7.79% year-on-year decrease in sales volume, with 18,391 MT sold in April FY27 compared to 19,945 MT in April FY26. The average realisation per metric tonne increased by 16.53% to ₹1,02,443. Month-on-month, sales volumes decreased by 8.64%, while the average realisation increased by 2.07%.

Carbon steel sales volumes decreased by 12.88% year-on-year, with 1,18,809 MT sold in April FY27 compared to 1,36,372 MT in April FY26. The average realisation per metric tonne increased by 4.74% to ₹48,460. Month-on-month, sales volumes decreased by 23.81%, while the average realisation increased by 3.73%.
