Hinduja Global Solutions signs MoU to skill one lakh youth in Uttar Pradesh

Hinduja Global Solutions’ broadband vertical, OneOTT Intertainment Ltd. (OIL), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Uttar Pradesh to enhance youth employability in the state. The initiative aims to skill one lakh youth for the digital economy.

The MoU was formalised by Dr. M. K. Shanmugha Sundaram, Principal Secretary, Labour and Employment Department, and Mr. Vynsley Fernandes, Whole-Time Director of Hinduja Global Solutions and MD & CEO of ONEOTT Intertainment Limited. The signing was witnessed by Shri Anil Rajbhar, Minister for Labour and Employment, along with other dignitaries.

OIL will implement capacity-building programmes, skill training workshops, and structured training initiatives. The company will also provide research-based insights and technical recommendations to support these programmes. Dr. Sundaram emphasised the importance of aligning skill development with industry needs, while Mr. Fernandes highlighted the role of digital transformation in India’s economic progress.

The Uttar Pradesh Employment Department will coordinate the implementation of these programmes, collaborating with relevant institutions and stakeholders. OIL’s efforts are part of a broader strategy to support digital inclusion and connectivity-led development across India.
