Torrent Pharmaceuticals receives corrigendum order from NCLT for J.B. Chemicals merger

Torrent Pharmaceuticals announced that the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Ahmedabad Bench, has issued a corrigendum order dated 24 March 2026 regarding the proposed amalgamation of J.B. Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Limited with Torrent Pharmaceuticals Limited.

The corrigendum order was published on the NCLT website on 25 March 2026, following an earlier intimation made by the company on 24 March 2026 regarding the tribunal’s order in connection with the scheme of amalgamation.

Torrent Pharmaceuticals, which trades under the NSE scrip code TORNTPHARM and BSE scrip code 500420, said the disclosure was made pursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

The announcement indicates continued progress on the proposed merger transaction between the two pharmaceutical companies through the regulatory framework. The filing was signed by Chintan Trivedi, Company Secretary of Torrent Pharmaceuticals, and addressed to the listing departments of both BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India.
