Omaxe Limited’s subsidiary has received RERA registration certificates for four residential projects in Mohali, Punjab, enhancing its compliance and credibility.

Omaxe New Chandigarh Developers Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Omaxe Limited, has secured RERA registration for four of its residential projects in Mohali, Punjab. The projects, named Integrated Residential Township Phase 6, Phase 6A, Phase 6C, and Resort The Retreat, were launched on 12 March 2026. These projects cater to both domestic and international markets, although they are not launched in any specific countries outside India.

The RERA registration, issued by the Punjab Real Estate Regulatory Authority, certifies compliance with regulations, enhances credibility, ensures timely delivery, and fosters trust with buyers by guaranteeing transparency and legal protection. Punjab police arrests member of Lawrence Bishnoi, Goldy Brar gang in Mohali

The Anti Gangster Task Force (AGTF) of Punjab Police has achieved great success by arresting Sachin (Bacchi) of Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar gang. According to AGTF, Sachin provides logistical support to the Bacchi gang members.

“In a major breakthrough, #AGTF-Punjab has arrested Sachin @ Bacchi, an operative of Lawrence Bishnoi & Goldy Brar gang. The accused was involved in providing logistics support and hideouts to the members of the gang,” Punjab Police said in a statement. The police also recovered 4 pistols & 12 live cartridges from Sachin.

“Preliminary investigation has revealed that the accused along with other members of the gang were planning to attack the assigned targets given to them by their foreign handlers,” said Punjab Police.

Former Punjab DGP Sumedh Singh appears before Special Investigation Team in Mohali

Former Punjab DGP Sumedh Singh Saini appeared before the special investigation team in Mohali on Monday in connection with the 29-year-old case of disappearance and murder of a junior engineer, Balwant Singh Multani. The police had pasted summons outside his house in Sector 20, Chandigarh.

Multani was allegedly picked up by the police in December 1991 after a terror attack on Saini that left three policemen dead. Sumedh Singh Saini was injured during the attack. Two-accused policemen turned approvers and recorded statements against Saini, which in turn proved that Multani was tormented and eliminated at the ex-DGP’s behest. This is when the trouble started for the former DGP. After this, two witnesses, advocate GK Mann and a resident of Kharar, deposed against Saini.

Saini had avoided police raids and had not been at his Chandigarh residence since August 12.
