Ashiana Housing cancels agreement for Jaipur project due to approval issues

Ashiana Housing has announced the cancellation of its agreement to lease a 20-acre land parcel in Mahindra World City, Jaipur, for a group housing project. The agreement, initially signed on 30th October 2024 with Mahindra World City (Jaipur) Limited (MWC), has been terminated due to non-visibility of the necessary approvals required from MWC.

The agreement was aimed at developing a housing project within the Social Infrastructure Zone of Mahindra World City, Jaipur. This development was previously communicated to the stock exchanges on 6th November 2024.

The decision to mutually terminate the lease agreement reflects the challenges faced in securing the requisite approvals for the project. Ashiana Housing and MWC have agreed to end the agreement due to these unresolved approval issues.
