Godawari Power And Ispat Limited has announced the passing of Mrs. Madhu Agrawal, a member of the company’s promoter group, on 3rd May 2026. Mrs. Agrawal was a significant figure within the company, being the wife of Mr. Narayan Prasad Agrawal, a promoter, and the mother of Mr. Kumar Agrawal, also part of the promoter group. She was additionally related to other key figures in the company, including Mr. Bajrang Lal Agrawal, the Chairman and Managing Director, as well as Mr. Dinesh Agrawal, Mr. Siddharth Agrawal, and Mr. Abhishek Agrawal, all of whom hold executive positions within the promoter group.

The company expressed deep sympathy and condolences to Mrs. Agrawal’s family, acknowledging her contributions and presence within the organisation. At the time of her passing, Mrs. Agrawal held 2,00,61,155 equity shares, accounting for 2.98% of the company’s shares. In line with Regulation 31A of the SEBI (Listing Obligation and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, Mrs. Agrawal will cease to be part of the promoter group in due course.
