Dredging Corporation of India achieves record Rs 1214.09 crore turnover in FY 2025-26

Dredging Corporation of India Limited (DCIL) has announced a historic achievement, recording its highest-ever annual turnover of ₹1214.09 crore for the financial year 2025-26. This milestone marks the best performance in the company’s five-decade history, underlining its status as India’s premier dredging organisation.

The company, operating under the consortium of four major ports—Visakhapatnam Port Authority, Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority, Paradip Port Authority, and Deendayal Port Authority—also reported a profit after tax (PAT) of ₹4.75 crore for the same period. This reflects DCIL’s strong operational efficiency and prudent financial management.

Despite global economic challenges and inflationary pressures caused by volatile geopolitical developments, DCIL demonstrated resilience throughout the year. The company successfully navigated rising fuel prices, increased operational costs, and intense pricing pressures, achieving an impressive operational profit (EBITA) of ₹253.46 crore for FY 2025-26.

The robust performance of DCIL highlights its adaptability, strategic planning, and execution excellence. The company efficiently delivered ongoing dredging projects within stipulated timelines, ensuring complete client satisfaction across various ports and maritime infrastructure projects.

The earnings per share (EPS) for FY 2025-26 significantly improved to ₹5.28, a notable increase from the negative ₹12.07 in the previous financial year 2024-25, indicating enhanced shareholder value and sustained growth momentum.

They conveyed confidence that DCIL would continue to overcome future challenges through collective efforts and emerge even stronger.

Looking ahead, DCIL has set an ambitious target of achieving a turnover of ₹1500 crore for the financial year 2026-27. This goal underscores the company’s commitment to sustaining its growth trajectory and further strengthening its position as the nation’s leading dredging company.
