Fortis Healthcare announces ₹1 per share dividend for FY 2025-26

Fortis Healthcare Limited has declared a final dividend of ₹1 per equity share for the financial year 2025-26, representing 10% of the face value of ₹10 per share. This decision, made during the Board of Directors meeting on May 22, 2026, is subject to the approval of the company’s shareholders at the upcoming Annual General Meeting. If approved, the dividend will be paid within 30 days of the meeting.

The board also approved the standalone and consolidated audited financial results for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2026. The statutory auditors, M/s. B S R & Co. LLP, issued an audit report with an unmodified opinion on these financial results. Additionally, Fortis Healthcare has confirmed compliance with covenants for listed non-convertible debt securities as of March 31, 2026.

In other significant decisions, the company appointed M/s Jitender, Navneet & Co. as the Cost Auditor for the financial year 2026-27. This firm, established in 2003, has a presence in four states and has undertaken assignments across India. Notably, it is the only costing firm in India to have worked for the World Bank and is the first Cost Management Accounting firm registered with PCAOB-USA for audits under the SEC Act.
