Mold-Tek Packaging Limited reports strong growth in FY 2025-26, with a 208.96% increase in pharma packaging volumes and plans for further expansion.

Mold-Tek Packaging Limited has announced its financial results for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2026, showcasing robust growth across its key business segments. The company reported a significant increase in both sales and profit, driven by strong demand in the pharmaceutical packaging sector.

For the fourth quarter of FY 2025-26, Mold-Tek Packaging achieved a sales volume increase of 17.37%, reaching 11,424.58 metric tonnes compared to 9,734 metric tonnes in the same period of the previous year. Revenue for the quarter rose by 17.27% to ₹237.59 crore, up from ₹202.61 crore. The company’s EBITDA for the quarter increased by 22.63% to ₹47.92 crore, translating to ₹42.11 per kilogram.

The company’s full-year performance for FY 2025-26 also reflected strong growth. Sales volume increased by 11.41% to 42,629 metric tonnes, while revenue rose by 13.44% to ₹886.61 crore. EBITDA grew by 20.59% to ₹173.48 crore, and profit before tax increased by 20.25% to ₹97.73 crore. Net profit for the year stood at ₹72.87 crore, marking a 20.35% increase from the previous fiscal year.

A standout performer was the Pharma Packaging segment, which recorded an exceptional volume growth of 208.96%, achieving a turnover of ₹35 crore. This growth was attributed to increasing customer acceptance and rising demand from the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. To meet this demand, the company added 28 CRC assembling machines and an IBM machine, launching effervescent tubes with in-mould labelling (IML) for the first time in India.

The FMCG Packs segment saw a volume growth of 18.04%, while the Q-Packs and Paint Packs segments registered growths of 25.82% and 14.41%, respectively. However, the Lubes Packs segment experienced a volume decline of 12.99%.

Despite challenges posed by the West Asia war, which led to a steep increase in raw material prices, Mold-Tek Packaging successfully negotiated with clients for the absorption of these costs. The company is optimistic about continuing its growth trajectory in FY 2026-27, aiming to surpass a turnover of ₹1,000 crore.

Strategic initiatives undertaken during the year included the consolidation of manufacturing operations in Hyderabad, expected to yield operational synergies and financial benefits from FY 2026-27 onwards. Additionally, the company enhanced its printing capacity by adding a new offset printing machine to support growing business volumes.
