In the 10th episode Koffee with Karan Season 7 Katrina Kaif will be seen sharing a couch with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khatter. The episode exposed about the new tidings between Illeana D’Cruz and Sebastien Katrina’s brother as hinted by the show host Karan Johar.

Reportedly, there Ishaan confirmed his breakup with Ananya Panday while Karan Johar hinted that Ileana D’cruz is dating Katrina’s brother Sebastein.

In a conversation with Katrina, Karan wanted to know about her birthday celebration in Maldives with her friends and family. He then questioned about Ileana’s connection with Katrina’s family, and said, ‘We don’t have to confirm that.’

Karan stated “On a Maldives trip some images came out and I was doing the math in my head. I said ‘okay I saw these two meet for the first time in front of me at a party’ and I’m like ‘that moved fast as well.” Katrina had no comments as she just laughed, she praised Karan’s observation skills, addressing him having ‘Eye of Sauron’.

Ileana D’Cruz joined Katrina Kaif’s birthday celebration in Maldives as she was spotted in pictures posted by Katrina on her Instagram handle. The other attendees were Sunny Kaushal, Sharvari Wagh, Kabir Khan and Katrina’s sisters. After the celebration, she was also caught being with Sebastein at the airport.

On the work front, Ileana D’Cruz will soon appear in her web series debut under the banner of Applause Entertainment’s. The web series is yet to come up with title casts and other details.

Ileana D’Cruz talked about being the casualty of fake news in a new interview. She said that there were bits of gossip that she was pregnant and experienced an abortion. She too opened up about wrong reports which claimed that she had endeavored suicide.

During an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Ileana was asked about fake news almost her which made her snicker out boisterous. “There have been a few. There was one where clearly I was pregnant and had an abortion. It is kind of pitiful, truly, that individuals really composed stuff like that. It was bizarre,” she said.

“There was another where I had committed suicide, not endeavored. Exceptionally pitiful. (That) I had committed suicide but I had survived and my servant had affirmed the news. I didn’t have a servant, I didn’t endeavor suicide, I was alive… It didn’t make any sense. I don’t indeed know where they get stuff like that,” she added. Back in 2018, there was a parcel of the theory that Ileana was anticipating her, to begin with, a child with her then-boyfriend Andrew Kneebone. However, she shut down the rumors with an Instagram post, in which she clarified that she was ‘not pregnant’.

Last month, Ileana made her digital debut with The Big Bull, which was freely based on the life of the scam-tainted stockbroker Harshad Mehta. The film, featuring Abhishek Bachchan within the lead part, was initially slated for a theatrical release but came out on a digital stage owing to the COVID-19 widespread.

Actress Ileana D’Cruz opened up about signing lesser projects in the Hindi film industry than in the South, Ileana also admitted that she is not happy with the way her career in Bollywood has shaped up.

Barfi actress told Bollywood Hungama that she could have done a lot more and in the future, she wants to do a lot more.

Ileana also revealed that she is pushing at it and trying to do the best that she possibly can right now, Ileana went on to say that she signed a lot more films down South and took up less work in Bollywood because she was holding back a lot.

She said that she was ‘unsure of herself’ and of making a mistake or doing the wrong film. The actress further said that she did not much about these things when she was working in the South.

Ileana added that she does not want to work in the same way now and would like to experiment and take risks.

On the work front, the actress was last seen in The Big Bull in which she played the role of a journalist. She will be next seen in Unfair & Lovely alongside Randeep Hooda.

Ileana had also given amazing performances in films like Barfi, Rustom, and Raid to name a few.

Before making her Bollywood debut, she was already an established actor in the South Indian film industry with hits such as Pokiri, Jalsa, and Kick to her credit.

Ileana D’cruz to be cast opposite Ajay Devgn in the Hindi remake of Luther

After Saif Ali Khan and Sonakshi Sinha, now Ajay Devgn is all set to make his digital debut. Ever since theatres were put under lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the need for OTT platforms has only increased. Reportedly, one of the top OTT giants has signed Ajay for a Hindi remake of the TV show, Luther. The actor will be seen stepping into the shoes of Idris Elba.

Ajay has already signed the project and the makers are on the lookout for an actress to be paired opposite him. A source said to Pinkvilla, “The team wanted someone who will have a powerful screen presence and they are already in talks with Ileana D’Cruz for the same. This will also be Ileana’s first web series if she says yes to it. She has heard the idea and loved it. She also has a great working rapport with Ajay so, in all probabilities, she will sign on the dotted line soon.”

The two primary roles on the show are of Alice Morgan, portrayed by Ruth Wilson, and Luther’s wife, Zoe Luther, essayed by Indira Varma. Ileana’s role has not been confirmed yet. “Ileana’s team is currently discussing modalities. She’s most probably going to play Ajay’s wife in the series,” the source adds.

Ajay and Ileana have previously shared screen space in films like Baadshaho and Raid. Ileana is also playing the lead in Ajay’s next production venture, ‘The Big Bull’.

The decision to forgo a theatrical release has come to light due to the on-going pandemic. Corona-virus induced lockdown may be getting uplifted but footfalls in theatres are still questionable! Hence, producers are shifting to ‘direct-to-web’ release to realize the profits and equalize the cost of pending films.

In this row, recently, Abhishek Bachchan starrer ‘The Big Bull’, a financial drama which also features Ileana D’Cruz in a pivotal role, is heading towards digital release. A report by a media outlet suggests, “Ajay Devgn, who’s producing The Big Bull – a biopic on the life of stock market king Harshad Mehta – has been in regular touch with the whole production crew. They are also in talks with a few OTT platforms who have shown interest in buying the film. In all probabilities, Ajay and team will avoid a theatrical release and put The Big Bull online. They are waiting to close the deal, and will sell it to the digital agency that gives them a bigger price.”

Big Bull is helmed by Kookie Gulati, who has directed movies like ‘Prince’ and ‘Pyaare Mohan’, was initially scheduled to release in October,’20.

According to the same media outlet, the stars of ‘The Big Bull’ are fine with the movie entering into digital space. “Given the situation around, it’s still uncertain when theatres will resume filming movies. So, Ajay, Abhishek, Ileana, the director Kookie Gulati they all came to a collective decision along with the team to release their film on the web instead. The production house will also recover its investment from the same and the satellite prices too are being negotiated currently.”

Abhishek Bachchan, who voluntarily took a break from the films, returned with Anurag Kashyap’s love saga, Manmarziyaan in which he delivered a powerful performance and took his fans by surprise. After this, he has few projects lined up for release and we would see his debut on OTT platform with ‘Breathe’ season 2 pretty soon!
