Shark Tank India’s season 02 is going on air since the first Monday of the new year, 2023. It premiered on January 02, 2023. It airs on Sony Tv and its digital sister concern Sony Liv app. This show is an Indian adaptation of an American original show called Shark Tank, which is being telecast on American Broadcasting Company since 2009. The judge in Shark Tank India season 02 are: Peyush Bansal – Co-owner and CEO of Lenskart, a premium eyewear brand in India, Vineeta Singh – Co-owner and CEO of Sugar, a cometic brand in India, Anupam Mittal – owner of Shadi.com, a matrimonial platform, Makaan.com, a real-estate platform and Mauj, a short-video platform, Aman Gupta – Co-owner of Boat, an electronic brand in India and Namita Thappar, executive board of director, Emcure pharmaceuticals and Amit Jain – Owner of Cardekho.

Shark Tank India curated a list of companies that are the most futuristic tech innovations amongst all of the businesses that pitched in season 02 up until now. The names of these companies are: Hoovu Fresh, PORTL, Kyari.

According to Shark Tank India, “Hoovu Fresh helps retain and prolong the freshness and shelf life of flowers for up to 15 days. Portl is alife sized AI based interactive fitness mirror that seamlessly fits anywhere in the house and becomes your home fitness trainer. Kyari, with its innovative technology, brings a smart stick guardian, to help trekkers have a safe and convenient experience.”

Shark Tank India 2: Hoovu Fresh sisters Rhea and Yashoda to appear Live on Shark Tank India’s page

One of the very earliest pitchers of Shark Tank India season 02, Hoovu Fresh co founded by Rhea and Yashoda, both sisters, will be appearing Live on Shark Tank India’s page on March 1, 2023 at 8PM. They will be narrating their story of how they thought of and came up with the idea for their puja flower business.

Hoovu Fresh is a puja flower business that sells flowers with a shelf life of around two weeks. Though the sisters are from Bangalore, these flowers can be bought online.

Rhea and Yeshoda Karuturi, the sister duo from Hoovu Fresh will be appearing LIVE this 1st of March at 8 pm, on the Shark Tank India page to tell their story!

B’Luru based Hoovu Fresh raise 1 crore rupees at Shark Tank India Season 02

In the first episode of Shark Tank India season 02, one of the pitchers were two women entrepreneurs from Bangalore (now Bengaluru). Name of their company was Hoovu Fresh. They sell flowers for the purpose of Puja after processing them in their in-house built machinery and technology that helps retain the freshness and fragrance of the flowers.

Hoovu owners claimed that by controlling the moisture and other technical interference, they have managed to increase the shelf life of flowers from 2 day to 15 days. They have been selling these flowers to farmers and also collaborating with temples to help them decorate their premises with Hoovu Fresh flowers that can remains fresh and smell fresh for around 15 days.

Aman Gupta, owner of Boat and Peyush Bansal, Owner of Lenskart invested in this Bengaluru-based business by cracking a deal of 1 crore rupees for a 1% equity. Both the women entrepreneurs from Bangalore also got an offer from Namita Thappar, Executive Board of Director, Emcure and Vineeta Singh, owner of Sugar cosmetics. But the Hoovu Fresh girls preferred Peyush Bansal and Aman Gupta over Namita Thappar and Vineeta Singh.

Hoovi Fresh sells their flowers in a price range of INR 40 to INR 100. People can buy these flowers from various online shopping platforms. They made a business of 1 crore rupees in their first month of business in the month of August last year, 2022. Their monthly average sales toggle INR 60 Lakhs to INR 65 Lakhs. By the end of 2023 Hoovu Fresh estimate to reach 10 crore worth of sales.
