Shubh Malhotra is the Style Director from India for London Fashion Week

Celebrity fashion and style guru Shubh Malhotra will be the Style Director – India for the prestigious London Fashion Week (LFW) to be held from September 16 to 20, 2022, as a digital-physical hybrid, styling both womenswear and menswear brands.

Presented by Clearpay, the LFW enables collaboration and brings together fashion, culture and technology. “Fashion represents constant change while style is an emotion. The combination creates a unique identity of yourself,” says Shubh Malhotra.

It’s a dream for every designer and stylist to be a part of the big four Fashion Weeks (the other three being in New York, Milan and Paris) and Shubh looks forward to the London Fashion Week “as part of a fashionable and meaningful journey of life.”

For the record, Shubh Malhotra is an acclaimed celebrity fashion and lifestyle designer, influencer, image consultant and brand mentor, a national and international pageant and fashion show director, a personality groomer, motivational speaker, a world peace leader, special educator (for the cause of autism in USA), and a filmmaker all rolled into one.

But Shubh’s accomplishments do not end there! She is also the founder-CEO of ChaiKoffee Entertainment, a director-producer of music videos and a screenplay writer for Hindi, Punjabi and Telugu films. She is the founder-CEO of Being Handloom Fashion (BHF).

BHF is a global fashion arena that has been devised and created with an aim to symbolize the Indian textile industry heritage, making handloom and khadi a fashionable movement and curating a new wave in sustainable fashion and social responsibility.

Last but not the least, Shubh Malhotra is a philanthropist and the founder of Shubh Astha Foundation. The foundation promotes women empowerment with a mission to contribute towards transforming lives and communities through upliftment of the society. It focuses on social welfare reforms and projects related to health, autism awareness, education, Go Green campaigns and skill development, in the process, assisting reliance to lead a better life.

For her progressive work, Shubh has received numerous national and international awards. She has been honoured with the Rashtriya Ratna Fashion and Style Icon Award 2022 from His excellency Governor Of Kerala, Hon. Arif Mohd Khan and RSS leader Hon. Indresh Kumar. She has also received the Fashion Icon Award by Ashtalakshmi Awards, the Dadasaheb Phalke Icon Award and the Women of Substance Award from Star of the Nation Indus International Awards.

She has been the Maharashtra Women’s Wing Cell President for the Sanyukt Vyapar Mandal. Shubh has also been felicitated as the Youth Women Icon of India by Jai Ho Foundation and has been an ambassador for the Navi Mumbai Fashion Week as well as for LIFT Academy focusing on empowering women. Samarpan Singh-starrer LuvDown has a déjà vu moment with Netflix’s The Bubble

Actor Samarpan Singh is quite surprised to learn that the new Netflix film The Bubble is actually made on the subject of ‘a movie made during the lockdown’.

“I am surprised, but smiling,” says the new-age actor. “Learning about the subject of The Bubble took me back in time, when a year ago, we faced multiple challenges, shooting our web series LuvDown in a flat during the pandemic,” he remarks.

Just like this subject of The Bubble, the story of LuvDown revolved around a couple trapped together in a flat during the lockdown. “The pandemic made good and bad memories for most of us on the planet. So it’s good to see more and more filmmakers create stories revolving around the time,” adds Samarpan.

For the record, LuvDown was probably the first production on the subject of lockdowns. The web series, watched with appreciation and anxiety by viewers during its initial run on Disney+ Hotstar, also got a fresh lease on YouTube, with viewers able to sit back and enjoy the sarcastic humour of the rom-com with a nostalgic smile.

Featuring Samarpan Singh with Amrit Kaur Dhillon as his love interest, LuvDown featured seven episodes written and directed by Sritama Dutta. They have been produced by Onkarjit Singh, Gurjit Singh and Aditya Bharadwaj, and presented by Y Star Cine & Television Pvt Ltd.

After the series, Samarpan has signed up for a Hindi film and will also be seen in a music video soon. He is looking forward to more work in Bollywood. Going by his steady climb in the film industry, we wouldn’t be surprised to find him bagging some plum Bollywood projects in the near future.

For a recent photoshoot, Taapsee Pannu wore beautiful black well-fitted three piece suit and she captioned her photograph, “When they say “who wears pants in the house….””

The image that the actor shared on her official Instagram account showed her wearing a classic three-piece suit by the homegrown brand Tisa that is famous for making quirky suits for men.

With her selections and her daring angle, Taapsee Pannu has already proved to us that she is a sturdy girl who can battle all hindrances coming her method in this man’s world and she does it with class.

On the work entrance, Taapsee Pannu has a lot of flicks lined up for launch. Her upcoming tasks embody Haseen Dillruba, Jana Gana Mana, Rashmi Rocket and Looop Lapeta amongst others.
