Intellect Design Arena partners with 37 Canadian financial institutions to enhance digital banking for over 262,000 members, managing over $11.7 billion CAD in assets.

Intellect Design Arena has announced a significant partnership with 37 Canadian financial institutions, part of the National Digital Banking Working Group (NDBWG), to enhance digital banking services for over 262,000 members across five provinces. This collaboration unites institutions managing over $11.7 billion CAD in assets under a single digital architecture, marking a major digital transformation initiative in Canada’s financial sector.

The NDBWG selected Intellect to provide its eMACH.ai Digital Engagement Platform (DEP) and associated services after an exclusive negotiation period that began in August 2025. Out of 59 financial institutions involved in the vendor selection, 37 have formally signed on, with more expected to follow.

Intellect’s eMACH.ai DEP aims to modernise offerings by improving member management, enhancing digital self-service, and introducing new functionalities for financial institution staff. The platform’s shared cloud-based, multi-tenant SaaS architecture is designed to lower overhead costs and enable rapid scaling of services.

Greg Sol, Board Chair of the Credit Unions Future Committee, expressed confidence in Intellect as a long-term partner, emphasising the partnership’s potential to deliver a modern digital banking experience that meets current and future member expectations. Steve Kingan, CEO of Frontline Credit Union, noted the expertise and collective strength gained through the NDBWG process, highlighting the positive outcomes and partnerships achieved.

Rajesh Saxena, CEO of Intellect Consumer Banking, stated, “We are proud to support our growing collective of 37+ Canadian financial institutions as they redefine the future of community banking. By leveraging Intellect’s eMACH.ai Digital Engagement Platform, these institutions are joining a broader movement toward high-velocity innovation.”
