Gujarat State Petronet receives rectification order reducing assessed income to Rs 1,435 crore

Gujarat State Petronet has received a rectification order from the Assistant Commissioner of Income Tax, Gandhinagar Circle, reducing the assessed income for the assessment year 2024-25 to ₹1,435 crore from the previously determined ₹1,683 crore. The rectification order, issued under section 154 of the Income Tax Act, 1961, was received by the company on 10th April 2026.

The rectification addresses the earlier order dated 23rd March 2026, which was issued under section 143(3) read with Section 144B of the Income Tax Act, 1961. The adjustment in the assessed income reflects a recalibration in the tax computation for the financial year 2023-24.

Despite the change in assessed income, Gujarat State Petronet has stated that the financial impact of this rectification will be nil. This suggests that the adjustment will not affect the company’s financial, operational, or other activities in monetary terms.

PM Modi addresses Global AYUSH Investment and Innovation Summit

The summit, which is the Ministry of AYUSH’s most important event for 2022, will bring together industry leaders, academicians, and intellectuals to discuss strategies to promote traditional medicines and systems.

Workshops, roundtables, symposiums, and other events will be held as part of the summit. Which will feature 90 distinguished speakers and 100 exhibitors, according to a statement from the AYUSH ministry. At the meeting, foreign diplomats and officials from various industries and corporate groups will unveil a number of efforts to boost AYUSH exports.

One of the summit’s goals is to attract attractive investments to help India become the world’s Global AYUSH Destination. Due to the lack of limits on foreign direct investment (FDI), India has seen massive investment in recent years.

“The AYUSH Ministry wants to keep building on this and utilize the platform to initiate target-oriented initiatives to enable the recognition and growth of traditional systems of medicine,” the statement said.

Union Minister of AYUSH Sarbananda Sonowal said, “We are proud to announce the Global AYUSH Investment and Innovation Summit 2022 that will bring together the country’s leading start-ups, entrepreneurs, investors, policy-makers, and other national and international stakeholders for a specially curated event on innovation and entrepreneurship to help India become a Global AYUSH Destination.”

On April 19, the WHO Global Centre for Traditional Medicine will be officially inaugurated in Jamnagar, Gujarat. According to the announcement, this centre will become an international hub of global wellness. Bringing traditional health systems around the world to new heights.
