Priyanka Chahar Choudhary has been loved and hated equally by all inside and outside the Bigg Boss house during the ongoing and currently running season of the most controversial show of the country, Bigg Boss 16.

She is nominated to be eliminated from the house this week. Thanks to her housemates. The strong competition level she’s setting for everyone in the house is making her a threat for other contestants inside the house. Hence the reason for her nomination this week. In one of the promos of tonight’s ‘Shukrvaar Ka Vaar’ episodes doing its rounds on the internet, Salman Khan, the 12-year-old host of Bigg Boss, is seen announcing that out of the three contestants nominated this week, Sumbul Touqeer Khan, Gori Nagori and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, it is Priyanka who will be exiting from the house this week. Everyone is seen shocked including Nimrit Ahluwalia, who happens to be her arch rival inside the house.

But now, in one of the post going viral on the internet has Priyanka Chahar Choudhary’s father, honorary captain in the India Army, Capt. Mahavir Singh Chahar giving her support to his doting daughter. Capt. revealed that, “… Priyanka’s been raised to stand up for herself, and never take disrespect. We do not consider loud voices and anger as negative but believe that anger should be used in the right situations at the right time…” All the fans of the ‘Udaariyaan’ fame are sharing her father’s revelation on Twitter and are beaming with pride.

On Tuesday, Priyanka Chopra Jonas commemorated the birth anniversary of her late father, Ashok Chopra. The actress posted a photo of the cake on her Instagram stories. She is currently in the United Kingdom working on her next project. She was incredibly close to her father and frequently posted images of him on social media. Spin has an intriguing storyline that focuses on a distinctly South Asian narrative, and during an interview with Pinkvilla, Abhay Deol opens up about his involvement in the film and more.

After appearing in iconic Bollywood films such as Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and others, Abhay takes on the role of a father onscreen for the first time. When asked how he got to be a part of this endeavour, Deol said, “Well, I met Manjiri ‘Manjari Makijany’, the director 3-4 years ago. She was in LA and I half live in LA, so we met in a general meeting to say hello. Our families have worked together. You know, her dad was in the industry, Mr Mac Mohan has been a legend himself and so we just bonded over being from the same neighbourhood.”

“And three years later she calls me and says, ‘By the way, I’m doing a project for Disney and you have to play a dad'”, Abhay also mentioned that he was on board for the project after reading the script for the character.

We asked Deol if he is ready for an entirely new fan base to come his way, given that Disney films have a certain fan appeal, not just when it comes to playing the Prince, but also with roles like that of a Disney father. When asked how he feels about being dubbed a “Disney Dad’ he further said, “I am always ready for love coming my way. Why would I not be? As long as people love you, you know, it feels great. If they hate you also, it’s fine, it’s kind of the opposite spectrum of love. At least, they are noticing you. You’re getting a reaction out of them.”

Actress Hina’s heart bled when she lost her father, and she lost a piece of herself with his untimely death. Although she misses her father, she frequently posts photos of and with him. Her father would have turned a year older today, and to commemorate the occasion, the actress has written a heartfelt birthday message for him.

Madhya Pradesh: Man axes father and wife to death over their alleged affair

On Saturday, a 35-year-old man allegedly axed his own father and wife to death when he found them in a compromising position at their house in a village of Jabalpur District in Madhya Pradesh, as reported by the police.

The accused, Santosh Lodhi, killed his father Aman Lodhi and wide Kavita Lodhi, who were 65 and 32 years old respectively, on Friday night with an axe at their house in Gokalahar village which is within 50 kms distance from the district headquarters, said the Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural), SS Baghel.

The ASP said that during an interrogation, the accused, Santosh mentioned to the police that he had killed both of them, his father and wife, after he found them in an objectionable position at their home under the Balkheda police station area. The police was alerted by a relative of the accused which led to the team of policemen to find the bodies lying in a pool of blood in the room while the accused, Santosh, was sitting at the doorstep of the house.

The ASP said that the bodies of the two victims, Santosh’s father and Wife, had been sent for post-mortem and that the accused was arrested and the case was under investigation.

The actress has recently quit the show and is now at a hospital in Indore taking care of her father. So far the news is that her father is doing well and is steadily recovering.

Akanksha Puri has disclosed the news after her father showed signs of steady recovery and she said, “My Dad had a stroke and I had to rush to Indore. Yesterday, brain surgery was performed on him and he is in better health now. Right now, I am at the hospital with him.” Talking about his improvement, she said, “He is ok, fighting this with a smile. He will take time to recover.”

The actress also shared a video of her father in bed at the hospital over her Twitter handle and the caption read, “My power, my strength, my superman, my father.
