Asian Energy raises Rs 92.03 crore through warrant conversion

Asian Energy Services Limited has successfully completed the conversion of a significant portion of its preferentially allotted convertible warrants, raising Rs 92.03 crore. This marks a crucial milestone in the company’s capital-raising efforts and strengthens its equity base.

The conversion follows the preferential allotment of 47,00,000 warrants on 5th November 2024, with each warrant convertible into one equity share at an issue price of Rs 335 per share. This price included a warrant subscription price of Rs 83.75 (25%) paid upfront and a warrant exercise price of Rs 251.25 (75%) payable upon conversion.

Asian Energy has raised a total of Rs 131.03 crore since the initial allotment date, with Rs 39 crore collected as the upfront subscription amount. Upon receiving the balance exercise consideration of Rs 92.03 crore, the company proceeded with the allotment of equity shares to eligible warrant holders.

The funds raised will enhance the company’s balance sheet, providing financial flexibility and cash flow to support high-growth opportunities across its various verticals, including operations and maintenance, and material handling plants. Asian Energy has been actively involved in integrated field development projects in the oil and gas sector and is setting up coal and material handling plants. The funds will be deployed in existing and upcoming projects.

Among the 28 non-promoter allottees who participated in the conversion, notable subscribers include Everest Finance & Investment Company, Ashish Kacholia, and Titagarh Enterprises Ltd. This investor participation underscores strong confidence in the company’s long-term growth prospects and operational strategy.
