DEE Development Engineers has issued a statement addressing the impact of the recent military conflict in West Asia on its export operations and domestic supply commitments. The company highlighted that disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz, a critical maritime passage, have affected shipping schedules, freight logistics, and energy supply chains globally, including Indian industry.

The immediate consequence for DEE Development Engineers is the risk of delays in export orders to customers in the West Asia region. The company clarified that these delays fall under the Force Majeure clause in their export contracts, ensuring that there is no possibility of contract cancellations. DEE Development Engineers has communicated with affected overseas buyers and is working closely with them to manage the situation.

In response to the energy supply constraints caused by the geopolitical situation, the Government of India has invoked the Essential Commodities Act, 1955, and issued the Natural Gas (Supply Regulation) Order, 2026. This directive regulates the supply of LPG and natural gas to industrial and commercial consumers, capping supplies at 80% of contracted volumes for most industries and 70% for fertiliser plants. DEE Development Engineers has expressed its support for these government measures, recognising them as necessary responses to an extraordinary situation.

The company noted that these developments are expected to have a limited impact on its overall performance for the current period. DEE Development Engineers maintains a healthy order book and is confident in its ability to meet its FY27 guidance.
