A helicopter carrying a family from Delhi returning from Badrinath Temple made an emergency landing in Tehri district on Saturday after developing a technical fault mid-flight, officials said. All seven people onboard, including the pilot, were reported safe.

According to officials, the helicopter was operating on the Char Dham pilgrimage route and was returning from Badrinath when the pilot detected a technical issue during the journey. As a precautionary measure, the pilot carried out a controlled emergency landing in the Tehri region to ensure passenger safety.
