Embassy Developments retains possession of 78 acres after Karnataka High Court ruling

Embassy Developments Limited has announced a favourable ruling from the Karnataka High Court, which has set aside the Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board’s (KIADB) order to resume approximately 78 acres of land at Kadugodi Industrial Area, Bengaluru. This land is held by Embassy East Business Park Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Embassy Developments.

The court’s decision allows Embassy East Business Park Limited to maintain possession of the strategically important land, which is central to the company’s long-term development plans in the East Bengaluru corridor. The ruling enables the continuation of development activities for the business park on this site.

This legal victory follows another recent favourable outcome for Embassy Developments, as the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal quashed insolvency proceedings against the company on May 4, 2026.
