										<content:encoded><![CDATA[&lt;p&gt;New Delhi, July 15: The Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru is the best university in India, according to the &lt;a href=&quot;https://www.businessupturn.com/news/topic/nirf/&quot;&gt;National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF)&lt;/a&gt; 2022 released by education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan here on Friday.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) and Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) are the second and third best universities in the country according to the NIRF ranking 2022.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This is the first time that JMI is ranked in the top three institutions.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Meanwhile the University of Delhi stood at 13th position, as per the ranking list.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;IIT Madras has topped the ‘Overall’ NIRF Rankings for the fourth year running while the second and third spots in the same category have been taken by IISc Bengaluru and IIT Bombay respectively.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In the engineering category, IIT Madras topped the list again, while IIT Delhi and IIT Bombay stood at second and third position respectively.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;As per the ranking, AIIMS Delhi is the best medical college in India. While National Law School Of India University, Bengaluru, is the top law school in the country. Miranda House topped in the ‘Colleges’ category.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad topped in the management category. While Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and Indian Institute of Management Calcutta were at second and third place.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In the category of architecture, Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee got the top spot. While National Institute of Technology and the Calicut Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. Are at the second and third position.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;NIRF ranking 2022, released by education minister Dharmendra Pradhan, has 11 categories. These are overall, research institutions, university, engineering, management, pharmacy, colleges, medical, law, architecture and dental.&lt;/p&gt;
