The actor took to Instagram and shared a video with his friend Gauri Shah whom he gave a perfect haircut and informed that the hair was donated to make wigs for cancer patients.

With a bunch of pictures from the session, the actor revealed that during the virtual Global cut as a part of Hair for Hope India, founded by Premi Matthew, he donated his friend’s hair to make ‘wigs for people who have lost their hair due to chemotherapy.’

Sharing the 2 pictures from the session, the model wrote, “Gave my friend @gauri_2804 a hair cut at the virtual Global cut – a – thon by Hair for Hope India, founded by Premi Matthew Hair For Hope collects donated hair to make wigs for people who have lost their hair due to chemotherapy, and it’s a great attempt to create a little bit of happiness for people in a really tough situation. Actor Salman Khan has started distributing food to the COVID-19 warriors of the nation. He had done a similar food donation drive last year too when he gave away food kits to the poor. Rahul Kanal, leader of Yuva Sena, is working with the actor for this donation drive.

Rahul also reportedly told that 24 hours after Salman Khan said he was concerned about the police officers, hospital staff etc., their food trucks started functioning. He also added that a plan has been made on how the distribution will function.

Each food kit has tea, water, biscuits and snacks. The snacks could be upma or vada pav or even pav bhaji. Kanal also said that they have a helpline number that has been provided to the frontline workers.

The food donation drive will function till May 15th 2021.
