UltraTech Cement has successfully resolved its arbitration proceedings with Jaiprakash Associates concerning the Dalla Super unit and mines in Uttar Pradesh. The resolution was achieved following a final award by the Arbitral Tribunal on 26th March 2026, which resulted in all rights and interests in the Dalla Super unit and mines fully vesting in UltraTech Cement. Additionally, all claims, proceeds, and liabilities related to the Series A Redeemable Preference Shares issued in 2017 have been discharged. The settlement marks the conclusion of a prolonged dispute between the two parties, initially arising from the acquisition of certain cement plants from Jaiprakash Associates, as approved by the National Company Law Tribunal at Mumbai and Allahabad.
