As the Bengal assembly results are on their way, there’s a significant piece of information that has sprung up.

Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee loses the Nandigram constituency thereby getting behind BJP’s Suvendu Adhikari. Well, earlier, trends were in favour of Mamata.

“Don’t worry about Nandigram, I struggled for Nandigram because I fought a movement. It’s ok. Let the Nandigram people give whatever verdict they want, I accept that. I don’t mind. We won more than 221 seats and BJP has lost the election”, says CM Mamata Banerjee, as quoted by ANI.

Furthermore, Mamata-led-TMC is all set to return to power as it occupies 213 seats thereby leaving behind the BJP with 78 seats.

Vote count is continuing, but servers has slowed down due to heavy load: EC

Amid the counting being carried out in four states and one UT, the EC comes up with a statement regarding the remarks thrown on the counting pace.

The point to be noted is that the counting in four states plus one union territory is going on, today. Well, trends have gone apparent in all the states.

Meanwhile, the EC has put a ban on all the victory rallies and celebrations keeping in mind the aggravating cases of Covid-19.

Amid the assembly election results in four states plus one union territory getting declared, the Election Commission of India pens a letter to all the chief secretaries of the respective states/UT’s directing them to immediately shun all the victory rallies/celebrations ‘urgently’.

In addition to this, the EC specifies that the responsible SHO’s and other officers for violating the norms must be suspended immediately. Furthermore, strict legal action will be initiated against them, reported by news agency ANI.

Although, there’s a piece of information that came from Asansol, West Bengal that police personnel, following the EC’s direction, immediately instructed the TMC supporters to brush aside victory celebrations.

In addition to this, a ban has already been put on victory rallies/celebrations in Assam keeping in view the escalating rates of the contagion.

In this regard, the DGP of Assam has also appealed to all the political leaders to adhere to the guidelines of the Election Commission.

As the counting for the Assam polls has commenced today, several party leaders are giving their opinions on the same.

Although, as per the trends as of now, BJP seems to lead on 61 seats out of 118 seats. While Congress has a grip over 25 seats of the state. Well, there’s a total number of 126 seats in Assam.

As counting is going on for the West Bengal polls, there comes a remark by the BJP’s Kailash Vijayvargia who’s also the party leader in West Bengal. He specifies that it’s too early to speak anything of the ultimate result.

Well, as of now, official trends till now shows that TMC is leading on 112 seats, while the BJP takes hold of 58 seats.

Satyajit Ray is a famous Indian film director born on the 2nd of May, 1921 in Kolkata, West Bengal.

Meanwhile, the counting has been going on in West Bengal today and there’s been observed a bottleneck competition between Mamata’s TMC and the BJP.

Assam outlaws victory rallies across the state amid rising cases of COVID-19

The Assam government has outlawed victory rallies that were supposed to take place across the state on the counting day, the 2nd of May.

Additionally, the government has put an extension to the night curfews in the state till the 7th of May, 2021.

The decision has been acknowledged keeping in view the rocketing cases of Covid-19 persistently. Well, in this regard, the state government has issued two notifications separately.

“Any victory procession or assembly at any public place during and after the counting on 2.05.2021 is prohibited.”

The notification also specifies that the winning candidate has to be accompanied by only 2 persons, the firing of crackers is restricted and it is mandatory to put masks on.

Although, in Assam, the daily spike has reached the 3000-mark. The night curfew was supposed to terminate on Saturday but now has been given an extension.

All shops have to remain closed during the curfew though it shuns the essential services such as pharmacies from the order.

Furthermore, services like public transport, electricity, water, and sanitation will continue functioning during the night curfew.

The number of cases reported in Assam on Friday was 3,197 which pushed the total mark to 2,53,123. Also, there were 26 deaths reported on Friday, which is the highest figure till date, as per the sources of the Assam government.

In addition to this, the total number of cases in the country stands at 19.2 million along with 4,01,993 cases reported on Friday.

In order o take a grip over the untrammeled cases in the country, the government came up with a policy of ‘Liberalized & Accelerated’ vaccination’, that allows people who’re above 18 to get vaccinated.
