ICAI CA January 2025 Exam Dates Announced: Check the foundation and intermediate schedule here

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has released the exam dates for the Chartered Accountants January Exam 2025. The schedule covers both the Foundation and Intermediate courses. Candidates can check the detailed schedule on the official ICAI website at icai.org. The exams will be conducted in English and Hindi for both courses.

Important Dates
The Foundation exams are set for January 12, 14, 16, and 18, 2025. Intermediate Group I exams will be held on January 11, 13, and 15, while Group II will be conducted on January 17, 19, and 21, 2025.

Exam Pattern
Foundation papers 1 and 2 will take place from 2 pm to 5 pm, while papers 3 and 4 will run from 2 pm to 4 pm. All Intermediate papers will be conducted from 2 pm to 5 pm. A 15-minute reading time will be provided before the exams, starting at 1.45 pm.

Registration and Fees
The online application process starts on November 10, with a submission deadline of November 23, 2024. For late submissions (with a fee of ₹600), the deadline is November 26. The correction window will be available from November 27 to November 29.

Exams will be held across various cities in India and internationally, including Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Kathmandu.

Young CA dies due to alleged overwork at EY India; Family claims no one from EY attended funeral

Anna Sebastian Perayil, a young Chartered Accountant from Kerala, tragically passed away just four months after starting her job at EY India in Pune. Anna’s family has alleged that she was overburdened with excessive workload, leading to her physical, emotional, and mental exhaustion, which may have contributed to her untimely death.

Letter from Anna’s Mother to EY

Anna’s mother, Anita Augustine, wrote an emotional letter to Rajiv Memani, Chairman of EY India, detailing her daughter’s experience at the firm. According to the letter, Anna, who was a brilliant student, had been experiencing anxiety, sleeplessness, and severe stress shortly after joining the company. Despite suffering from chest pain, which was later attributed to exhaustion by doctors, Anna continued working due to the overwhelming pressure.

No one from EY attended her funeral

On the day of her convocation in July, Anna insisted on going to work after a hospital visit, despite her parents’ concerns. Tragically, she passed away soon after. In her letter, Anita recounted how her daughter’s health deteriorated due to the excessive workload and pressure to meet deadlines, working long hours even on weekends.

Anita expressed deep disappointment with EY, alleging that no one from the company attended Anna’s funeral or responded to the family’s attempts to reach her superiors. The letter further criticized the company for overworking new employees like Anna, stating that the toxic work culture took a severe toll on her mental and physical health.

The tragic incident has sparked discussions about workplace stress and its impact on employees, especially newcomers to demanding professions. Many industry professionals have raised concerns over the work environment at EY India, questioning the high expectations placed on young employees and the lack of adequate support systems.

Anna was part of the Audit team at S R Batliboi, a member firm of EY Global, for just four months before her life was cut short. The family continues to mourn her loss, seeking answers and justice for the pressure they believe led to their daughter’s death.

ICAI releases exam day guidelines for CA exam 2021

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) CA December Exam 2021 is set to take place between December 5 and December 20, 2021. Exam day rules for exam centres, observers, and applicants have been provided by the ICAI. Candidates who have registered for the CA December exam can visit the official website, icai.org, for more information.

The exam will be held offline in 192 districts across India at various exam centres. In the aftermath of the COVID 19 epidemic, the ICAI has issued guidelines. The institute is taking all necessary precautions to safeguard the candidates’ safety as they prepare for the ICAI CA December Exam 2021.

Candidates must wear the mask and bring their own water bottle as well as a 50/100 ml sanitiser bottle. All examination workers have been instructed to keep a no-risk status in the Aarogya Setu App on their phones. ICAI CA Exam 2021: Guidelines

Candidates must bring a face mask, face shield, gloves, water bottle, hand sanitiser, admit card, photo ID card, and other exam-related things with them.
At the moment of entry and exit, candidates must maintain social distance and avoid crowding in the centre.
Mobile phones, smartwatches, other electronic devices, books and printed materials, and baggage are not permitted within the examination venues.
Candidates with a body temperature over the permissible limit will not be permitted to enter the exam room.
Candidates must arrive at the examination hall no later than 1 p.m.
Candidates must follow the instructions above and sign a consent document that is included with their admit card.

Chartered Accountants (CA) July 2021 examination result is going to be announced today, by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). Results can be checked by the candidates on the official website, icai.org. Due to any kind of issue, if the result is not announced today, it might be announced tomorrow on September 14, as the time is not confirmed yet.

Between July 5 and July 19 exams were being held for the CA Final, whereas on July 5, 7, 9, and 11, CA Final (Old scheme) Group 1 examination was organized, and July 13, 15, 17, and 19 the CA Final (old scheme) Group 2 examination.

How to Check ICAI CA final, foundation result 2021:

Go to any one of the official websites of ICAI: icaiexam.icai.org / caresults.icai.org / icai.nic.in.
Select the CA Result 2021 link, a new page will appear.
Click on the exam that you have emerged for CA Final (Old) or CA Final (New).
Enter your registration number / PIN.
Fill in the 6-digit Roll Number.

If any candidates want to apply for the verification of the answer sheet can apply for it on the same website within a month along with a draft of RS. 200 in approval of the Secretary of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, payable at New Delhi.

After a few days of result announcement, the scorecards will be sent to the candidates on their mailing address by speed post. In case the Candidate didn’t receive the receipt of the scorecard he must write to dms_examhelpline@icai.in between four to five weeks from the date of result declaration.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has released the result announcement date and time for Chartered Accountants (CA) July 2021 exam. According to the notification, the result is in all likelihood to be introduced on September 13 or Sep 14, 2021. Candidates can take a look at the notification at the official website – icai.org.
