Bhuvan Chandra Khanduri, former Chief Minister of Uttarakhand and senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader, passed away on Tuesday, triggering condolences from political leaders across the country.

Khanduri, popularly known as B.C. Khanduri, was a retired Major General of the Indian Army before entering politics and was regarded as one of Uttarakhand’s prominent political figures.
