Bajaj Holdings acquires shares worth Rs 370.53 crore in Bajaj Finserv

Bajaj Holdings & Investment Limited has acquired 20,90,050 equity shares of Bajaj Finserv Limited for a total consideration of ₹370.53 crore. The transaction was executed through a block deal with Bajaj Auto Holding Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bajaj Holdings.

The acquisition, which took place on 27 April 2026, is part of a related party transaction but is exempt from certain regulations as it is between the holding company and its subsidiary. The deal was carried out at arm’s length through a market transaction.

As a result of this acquisition, Bajaj Holdings now holds a 0.13% additional stake in Bajaj Finserv, bringing its cumulative shareholding to 38.41%. This move aligns with Bajaj Holdings’ strategy as an investment company to acquire shares in the ordinary course of its business.

The acquisition did not require any governmental or regulatory approvals, and the consideration was made entirely in cash.
