Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World premiered its second season in July this year. As a part of the summer 2024 anime, the show aired its first four episodes in a timely manner. However, on Tuesday the makers announced the next episode will not be released on 7th August, Wednesday.

The fifth and the later episodes have been delayed and will be aired until a new announcement is made. This move has been taken to maintain the quality of the show. The statement released by the makers on their official account read,

“Thank you very much for your continued support for the TV anime Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World Season 2. We have decided to postpone the broadcast and streaming of Episode 5 and onward in order to maintain the quality of the main story. We apologize for the inconvenience and concern this may cause our viewers who have been looking forward to the work and everyone involved.

The KimiSen 2 Production Committee will continue to work together with the original novel’s author, Kei Sazane, the original novel’s editorial department, and the production studio. Including the episodes that have already aired, the entire staff will make every effort to meet the expectations of those who have been looking forward to the work. Lazarus Plot

The showdown between Bakugo and Shigaraki is particularly hard to watch. Sure, it’s epic to see Bakugo face off against such a powerful foe in the series’ final arc, but it’s also incredibly stressful for those who adore his character. Over the course of the story, Bakugo has grown immensely, becoming one of the most beloved and well-crafted characters in My Hero Academia. So, seeing him in serious danger is naturally distressing for fans.

Is Bakugo dead in ‘My Hero Academia?’

In chapter 362 of the manga (and in season 7, episode 11 of the anime), Bakugo meets a grim fate. After a fierce battle with Shigaraki, during which the villain taunts him and vows to present his dead body to Deku, Bakugo takes a devastating hit to the chest. His heart bursts, leaving him bleeding on the ground with a gaping hole in his chest. The “Coffin in the Sky” plan the heroes had wasn’t intended for him, but it sure feels like it.

This heroic act requires Edgeshot to sacrifice his own body.

After the repairs, a small explosion from Bakugo’s quirk restarts his heart, and by chapter 403, he’s back in action. Despite the makeshift surgery leaving him in pain, he’s still able to fight. And if there’s one thing Bakugo is known for, it’s his relentless fighting spirit.

Based on a light novel series by Keiso, it was published by ASCII Media Works. It has nine volumes in total. Later on, a manga adaption was also made which was serialized in Monthly Shonen Magazine of Kodansha. The manga series was published on the 5th of March, 2021. It has three volumes in total.

The story follows the imaginary land of demons and gods. As the demon god is dead, the Shuras (demi-god) who are capable of felling him are fighting amongst themselves. They are free to do whatever they wish and are now combating to find out who’s the real hero of all.

Unfortunately, Ishura is not available to watch on Crunchyroll. It is exclusively available to stream on Hulu in the US. For audiences outside of the United States, it is available on Disney Plus except for Latin America. Star Plus has reserved the streaming rights in Latin America.

Currently, the 8th episode is running with the weekly release schedule. The anime releases every episode on Wednesday at 11:30 pm JST on Tokyo MX. Every episode premiers with English subtitles. However, no information has been given regarding the English dubbed version.

Horimiya: The Missing Pieces started releasing on the 1^st of July, this year. The first season of the series was released in January 2021. It had 13 episodes in total and was licensed by Crunchyroll. Both seasons have been directed by Masashi Ishihama at Studio Clover Works.

The anime is adapted from a manga series written by Hiroki Adachi. It was published by Square Print and serialized in their Gangan Comics online. The manga has 10 volumes in total and was released from 2007 to 2011.

The show revolves around a college student Kazuya Kinoshita, who is dumped by his ex-girlfriend Mami Nanami after their date for about a month. Due to this sudden uncertainty, Kazuya rents a girlfriend named Chizuru Mizuhara on an online dating app and rates her low because he thinks she is unauthentic.

The Isekai theme-based manga is all set to make its appearance on your TV screens as Takashi Naoya has taken the task of remaking its animated version setting. Am I Actually The Strongest? is written by Sai Sumimori and was initially published in September 2018. The book series will be adapted into an anime and is scheduled to release in July this year.

The show will be telecasted on ABC, TV Asahi for the Japanese audience and simultaneously aired on Crunchyroll, as the streaming portal has already taken the license for the upcoming anime. The manga has 8 volumes as of February 2023, which were published by Kodansha.

The story revolves around the protagonist Haruto, who is a school-going boy and is being bullied by his classmates, for the same reason he wished to stay alone and that leads to his death, due to poor diet. Later on, he is granted a wish by the goddess and transported into another realm as a newborn child, but unfortunately has exceedingly low power, which his new parents consider a threat as Haruto is a prince. Overall, the plot is about reincarnation and how Haruto will fight against all the odds to survive and create a place for himself.

Psycho-Pass Providence is an upcoming crime drama anime movie directed by Naoyoshi Shiotani. The movie is set in a dystopian time wherein Japan is led by the Sibyl System. The protagonist Akane Tsunemori is an officer under the Ministry of Welfare Public Safety Bureau’s Criminal Investigation Department. The story takes an interesting turn when she receives a report that an incident has occurred on a foreign vessel and this is the beginning of a mysterious case.

Amrita No Kyouen is a film directed by Saku Sakamoto. The story revolves around a school girl Tamahi and one day when she is returning home from school with her friends they encounter strange happenings trying to navigate through a massive building and finding out the reason for such events.

The third season of Demon Slayer has been released and each episode is aired every Sunday on Crunchyroll and later streamed on Netflix. As the story is taking a terrific turn, the Upper Rank 5 demon has made its startling appearance in the anime and it seems like this will be the toughest demon to fight so far.

Gyokko has some distinct features to him while his appearance being a major perplexion. With his body being solely attached to a vase and having numerous baby-like hands, he seems quite disturbing. This demon has a green-coloured mouth in place of his eyes while his forehead consists of a big-sized eye with his rank being written over it.

Being in the fifth position among the twelve Kizuki, Gyokko can easily convert into his original form as a merman. In the fourth episode of the Swordsmith Village arc, he produced multiple fish-like creatures and sent them to destroy the village. These creatures also have some distinguishing traits such as strong nails, and horrifying teeth and they can regenerate if cut down, but they can only perish if struck on a base behind their back.

Gyokko’s blood demon art enables him to take out assorted creatures from his porcelain vase and has quick reflexes that even Tokito cant handle. He is also able to generate water from his vase and choke anyone making it difficult for them to use breathing techniques. It will be thrilling to watch the ferocious combat between Tokito Muichiro that will perhaps emerge in the coming episodes.
